DRACO'S MIND hasn't left Nevaeh alone ever since they got back from the dreary meeting. It's only been two days, yet he feels as if he hasn't seen her in forever. He never sees Nevaeh anywhere anymore, no matter how hard he tries to find her. Little does he know, Nevaeh has been avoiding Draco. How could she ever face him? She's overly embarrassed about her true identity.

Nevaeh was just in the library, peacefully reading a book, in hopes of finding a way to fix the cabinet. That was until the sixth years were called to the Great Hall for an announcement.

"Good Morning, everyone! I have summoned you all to tell you there will be a winter ball this Friday at 8:00pm, right here in the great hall. So I would suggest you go get some dresses or suits ready or maybe even some dance moves." McGonagall announced.

Some groans of complaints were heard, as well as squeals of excitements. Nevaeh was unfazed. She's definitely not going. She even had the perfect dress for it, but the only problem was that all her dresses are short sleeved, she hasn't even touched a single short sleeved clothing ever since she's got the mark. So what's the point of going if she can't look good.

Draco was exceedingly excited, it's a chance to speak to Nevaeh. He was thinking about just bringing it up and talking about it but he decided on asking her to be his date instead. As everyone's being dismissed, Draco immediately approaches Nevaeh. He pulls her by her wrist and runs to an empty corridor.

"Hey! Malfoy! Let go of me!" Nevaeh pleads as she's taken by surprise but he doesn't listen, "Malfoy, this is called kidnapping I'll snitch on you!" she jokingly states.

As they reach an empty corridor, Draco lets go of her and laughs at her attempt to make him stop. As confused as Nevaeh is, Draco pins her to the wall. He was expecting her to blush or get nervous, because he knows he has an effect on girls, but Nevaeh isn't even agitated.

"What is it now?" Nevaeh responds with annoyed look.

"Well, surely you'll know what I'm going to ask you, after what McGonagall just announced."

"Actually, I don't." Nevaeh actually doesn't, she doesn't have a single clue. Her mind is occupied on the cabinet, she's got to prove herself to her brother as well as her deceased parents.

Draco lets off a soft smirk, "Why is it that the pretty ones are the most oblivious? I'm asking if you want to be my date to the winter ball."

"No." It was a simple decision for her.

"No? Why not?"
