Kyla: "Whom are you waiting for? Rose has already gone with her dad ,I suppose."
Standing next to the car, Kesley was almost spacing out, how did Kyla know they were here to meet Rose's dad? She decided it was time for her to clarify some things. "You need to answer my questions first." Kesley spoke in an edgy tone. "I saw that coming." Kyla said while getting out of her car. Her necklace glinting in the sunlit areas as she walked towards Kesley.
Beckoning her to the the two chairs kept outside the house, Kyla said, "Let's sit and talk about it, it's going to be a long one." They both sat on the chairs each wanting the other to break the silence. Had it not been for the apocalypse and the eerie atmosphere of the broken house, this place was quite peaceful with the forest around. There was even a basket of wilted flowers on the table in between them, bringing out the only sadness in this place.
[P.S- just imagine these flowers to be wilted ...haha]
The thundering of clouds broke the silence. Coming back to their senses Kyla said, "Okay, so its hard to believe, but all this which is happening is actually meant to happen, its already written. Written by....ME."
"What do you mean written by you??"Kesley spoke being no longer able to express any emotion. "Written by me in the sense that I wrote this story...or we can say reality is going in accordance to my story. It wasn't a mere coincidence when you and Rose were similar to the main characters. You are the main characters!" Kyla took a deep breath and then continued, "You know that's why I knew where to drop you and whom you were coming here to meet."
Things were falling in place now but still there were loopholes which Kesley was quick to point out. "You say that this is your story which is happening in real life and that's probably how you knew things which we never even told you. But if it was so then how come you didn't know I was the daughter of your father's friend whom you were supposed to pick? Why didn't you tell us when we first met at the cafe?"
"The thing is, I wasn't sure myself. But now I am." Raindrops started to fall down symbolising the revelation of things which one never knew existed but were there all the time, above us,waiting for the right moment to fall down.
"And the thing is, I am not the only author...", Kyla said resting her hands on the table."That is the reason why I don't know certain things, you remember the name of the cat in my story, Mistor?" "Yeah, but my cat's name is Stormi"Kesley said.
"See that's what I was trying to point out, what do you get when you reverse that name STOR-MI, you get MIS-TOR.The second author came up with that name.We wrote the starting of the story together but parted ways. All the time we were together, her storyline was the complete opposite of mine so we decided to write our own."
Kesley was shocked, collecting herself together she managed to ask,"So what I gather is,both of you are writing your own pieces which had the same beginning and now things are happening according to segments from both of your stories."
"Exactly and we never know whose part is going to be followed next."Kyla said with a worried look.
"Can I ask who is the second author?"Kesley asked.
"It's my sister, Alisa." Kyla said.
