"ELIZABETH!!" he whined into his pillow as his outstretched arm searched for her in vain.
"Down here!" She yelled from the kitchen.
"Come back to bed" He sounded like a five year old. He heard her giggle. A smile crept in despite his annoyance that she wasn't in bed with him.
He was looking forward to lazing around till late. It was the first weekend with just them after a month
She had moved in weeks ago, but it still felt like a dream to wake up beside her every morning. He had hated seeing her leave and come back months after shooting. Now his home was her home and he still couldn't get enough of her.
He dragged himself out of bed determined to make her pay for sneaking out on him.
There she was, clad in his shirt, top buttons open, revealing her black lacey bra. He could smell her lavender scented shampoo from across the room.
"Morning sleepy-head" she greeted him just as he walked into the kitchen.
"Morning," He said grabbing her by the waist, pulling her close and hitting the small of her back playfully.
"What was that for?" She pouted.
"For sneaking out of bed early." He sulked.
"11 O'clock is early?"
"mmhhhm" he hummed as he kissed her neck.
"Hungry?" She flirted suppressing a giggle.
"mhhmm" he hummed placing his lips on hers.
"Well you're just in time, I made breakfast" She said proudly.
"oh yeah?" he asked continuing to kiss her as he unfastened the scant few buttons of her shirt.
"Breakfast isn't in here you know" She teased as she buttoned the shirt and stepped back out of his reach, the twinkle in her eye giving away her true intentions.
"Well that" He said pointing to her, "is my favorite shirt." He said bridging the gap between them and beginning to undo the buttons once again; his lips tantalizingly close to hers. "And you," he said taking off the shirt slowly, he could hear her heart race faster.
"Are a thief" He said nibbling on her lower lip softly.
She dropped her act of playing hard to get just as the shirt hit the floor.

"Where's my bra?" she asked looking around haphazardly, putting on her shirt.
"You mean this one?" She heard a voice from the other side of the kitchen island.
Liz shot Avan a panicked glance.
She got up to find Ariana holding up her bra, looking amused at what she had just walked into.
"Ari" she flashed her pearly whites, doing the buttons on her shirt to make sure she was covered.
"Busy?"
"no.. no.. of course not.... breakfast?" she asked pointing to the stove. She let out a small uncomfortable laugh as Avan finally got up from the floor and joined her.
"I am hungry but you two might not join me after well..... you staved off your hunger" She couldn't help the playful smile that crept onto her face.
"Ari" Avan said acknowledging her, holding back his laughter.
"Avan." Ariana grinned returning the greeting.
"I'm gonna go change. Be right back." Liz chirped and left for the bedroom before Avan could react.
"so.. ummm.. how's life?" Avan asked scratching the back of his head and trying not to look at the bra she was holding up.
"Really Av, How's life.... If I didn't love the the two of you together, I would have killed you by now"
"Come on we haven't seen each other in a month. What did you expect?" He said drumming his fingers on the counter, holding back a smile.
"I could come back-"
"Nooo." Avan interrupted her. "Why don't u help yourself to some food, and I'll," he grabbed the bra from her hand, "Go freshen up"
"Great" Ariana laughed, just as he rushed out of the kitchen and into his bedroom.

"I cannot believe you left me there" He said flinging her bra as she giggled.
She grabbed her sweater and headed to the door.
"Hey" He said softly, grabbing her by the elbow and bringing her close.
"Don't even think about it mister" She said sternly.
He smiled and kissed her tenderly. "You're happy right?" He asked, his thumb stroking her face softly. "You know.. with us.. living here...together.." He asked letting out a nervous sigh.
She smiled and leaned in to kiss him. That was all the answer he needed.
"See you downstairs" She said smiling. His eyes followed her as she left the room.
She was happy
He went to his desk and opened the last draw. In it was a little box. He grabbed it and pried it open. The solitaire gleamed at him. She was ready. He was ready. It was time for the ring to come out of hiding.
