The silver hair that fluttered as the wind swept by. How captivating for others, it was. Deanna elegantly walked the school halls wearing her golden amulet by the side of her uniform, it clacked as she walked.

A girl that had long blonde hair comparable to silk, her eyes were shimmering in blue looked poorly at Deanna as if asking for help. Two girls were cornering the poor girl as if a scene in a novel.

Her name was Nina Myint a newly risen noble from the slums of Etheledo Kingdom, she was as plain as none of the pastel colors. She was as dull as can be but such a naive fool like her; no one would imagine her standing atop. Well... right now she is bullied in accordance to status, but soon this empire would hold her like a diamond.

She has holy powers like Saintess, but as of right now no one knows of it... no one except me, and why so? ... I am Deanna Marple daughter of Duke Christian from Okeara Kingdom, and I was reverted back in time, now as of the date Nina Mynit had risen as noble.

"the taste of yesterday's history remains, truly how painful" ...

...

Duke Christian's territory was truly vast, it was distinguished and honored. The Duke's power was a very essential support for the Royal Palace even though the Duke had royal blood running in his veins.

He is my father the Duke, he was very happy to receive the news mother was pregnant with me... until I was born.

"Duchess... it is a girl"

Mother was a selfless person, through the room she stayed none of everything was gold... that was my naive child self had thought. I grew up very much free but at the same time not...

It was yet spring again... I am Deanna Marple honored daughter of my dad the Duke, me and my maids today will go on a mission and catch some colorful butterflies! I had the finest bag with me and a little net that fitted my palms.

"my lady please stay close ok?"

"hehe yes, yes Aine"

The tall oak tree stood in front of me filled colored bushes by its trunk. It was finally my free time from all the studying, and so I wondered off leaving Aine and the rest behind. I ran and ran into the vast garden of our territory freely as the birds flew the sky. Everything was blue, the skies were, the flowers were and the dress? I took little steps forward only to take a couple of glances on the bright blue dress I saw. Aine and the others were shouting looking for me but I did not care the slightest.

Curiosity was taking over my whole being and for that moment I decided to look behind the big bush that stopped me from seeing the bright blue dress that touched the glistening grass. I only was curious about the dress but the person wearing it was much more beautiful, Mother...

Mother elegantly sipped her tea gazing upon flowers as if she was awed. As to what I assumed, Mother must love flowers. I grabbed a flower quietly and like a rabbit popping out of a bush I went, I reached out my hands with beautifully painted flowers.

"mother, here flowers just like the color of your dress!"

Just like the color of her bright blue dress as striking as her gaze. Mother was terribly beautiful; everyone would be bewitched. In that short minute, the flower I held fell down the grass as its petals detached little by little and...

"you unfitting of a royal blood, to have such right to smile at me... do you not know how much I am suffering because you were born!"

And... my chest had a squeezing pain. I felt like I was suffocating and my whole body was trembling, I clasped my hands together bringing it up to my chest. As the petals detached the flower the pieces of my heart crumbled...

"if only you weren't born as a girl"

Those words were stuck in my head as if a sad music made on repeat. I was only 6 years old, naive and foolish. I was delusional and careless. The studies I had weren't really bothering me but as the time passed and as my body grew bigger, I began to learn I had been put on leash. In the years Ive grown Ive learned that my parents turned their backs on me wishing I was a boy.

Nothing would even change if I had been a boy... they want me a boy to steal the throne thus freedom is much more limited.

How I wish I was a bird as free as can be, while they soar the skies their wings flutter so beautifully.

If only...
