Wanna practice for the audition after school?" Mills asked.
"Definitely."
"My place?"
"Yea. I'll be there by four thirty."
"Ok. Let's get to class."
We got out of the cafeteria.

Time skip to After school

School was done. I had to get home and do my school work then meet up with Millie to practice for the audition. I started skating to my house. I saw Louis from the corner of my eye but I just ignored him and kept going until I arrived home. I only had half an hour left to go to Millie's place so I quickly did my school work. Then I rushed and got my skateboard. I quickly skated to Millie's place. I ringed the bell.
"Hey Mills It's me." She opened the door.
"Welcome Y/n!" She said while hugging me.
"Come on in we have a lot to do."
"I'm nervous Mills. What if I mess up while I'm  auditioning?"
"You won't mess up. There is still 4 days to practice. Don't worry."
"Ok ok let's start."
We ended up practicing for an hour.
"Mills I feel like I ate a script as a meal. I think it's enough for today." I said while getting up and grabbing my things.
"Ok girlie see you tomorrow." She said and hugged me. Just as I was skating I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
I grabbed it and saw a text from Louis.

I put my phone in my pocket and continued skating. After a few minutes I was at the park. I saw Louis waving at me. I went over to him.
"Hi Y/n."
"Hey you."
"Look I want to apologize for sitting with Britney. I know you're mad at me about it. You told me what happened and sitting with them after that was a really jerky thing to do. I'm sorry."
His apology made me soften up. I wasn't mad at him anymore. I couldn't be mad.
"It's fine Louis. You can be friends with whoever you like." I said smiling. He smiled back at me.
"Wanna race to the benches?" He said.
"Absolutely."
We started skating. He was ahead of me. I couldn't catch up so I stopped and took some deep breaths. Then I continued but he already won. When I finally proceeded to catch up we both sat laid on the grass. We laid there for a few minutes in silence. Not an awkward silence. It was a really comfortable silence. But Louis decided to break the silence.
"So, Y/n tell me about your life."
"Hmm..well I live with my mom. My dad has a job abroad so he practically lives abroad. I have an older brother named Daniel. He lives here in London. Just not with mom and me. My dad visits us once a month. That's pretty much my life."
"Your dad being abroad seems tough."
"It is. I miss him. But It's fine. Any more questions?" I said giggling.
"Are you..you know seeing someone?"
"Nope. I don't date."
"Why not?"
"I don't believe in love."
"And why is that?"
"It's- Woah look at the sunset!" I said mesmerized.
We both sat up.
"Wow.." was all Louis could say. I put my head on his shoulder and watched the beauty of the sky.
