calum tried to drown his sorrows in alcohol and ended up almost drowning himself.
he was in the bathroom, passed out, bottles of beer everywhere.
joy was crying and saying how much she wished i could be there to hold her hand.
he barely had a pulse, that's what the doctors told her. if she hadn't found him, he'd have died.
i fell back to sleep with her sobs in my ears.
