I woke up and I put on blue and white shirt with my light blue jeans and my Adidas sneakers. I put on my soccer sweatshirt to add to my spirit. I couldgot to practice today! I walked downstairs and my dad was making breakfast. He had on his apron and he was dancing and it was kind of embarrassing. He saw me and he stuffed a piece of bacon in my mouth. "Good morning sweet pea!" That was my nickname. I sat down and he served me pancakes and bacon. Austin walked in and he said he smelled bacon. We also gave some to Max, who ate it up so adorably. My mom.gave me my lunch and my dad took me to the bus stop. I hugged him goodbye and met up with Cameron. "Katherine and Amanda aren't coming today." He said. Aw. My besties. "Well I still have you." I said laughing. We rapped to our music on the bus to school.
Caiden wasn't here. I was sad. Alexis and I went to Algebra and she said that Jacob asked her to the dance. It was next Tuesday, and this week was the last week for tickets. I started to feel a little upset. When I got to Spanish halfway through the period Caiden walked in giving our teacher the pass. He sat down quickly kissing me saying, "Hey babe, sorry I was late, had to do some shopping early." He looked like a mess. His hair was messy and he had on khaki joggers with a plaid t shirt and didn't have it tucked in. I started to feel like something was wrong.
At the end of class I went to my locker and didn't really talk with him. "Babe, what's wrong?" He asked leaning into my locker. "I just feel like you're it telling me something." He rolled his eyes and said exactly what I was afraid of telling him. "You think I'm cheating on you." I looked down and he picked up my chin and said, "I would never cheat on you. I'd rather be nailed to a railroad and have the train run over me than cheat on you." I looked down and said quietly, "Then why have you not asked me to the dance yet?" I sounded like a whiny bitch then, and I apologized to him for that. "I need some time babe, I will ask you to the dance." "Then why don't you do it now?" "I can't tell you right now, I need some time. I wish I could tell you but I just can't right now." I nodded and shut my locker. He walked after me. "Babe, listen. I just need until tomorrow. Tomorrow something great will happen. But I cannot tell you anything else." I sighed but said okay, and I walked to lunch with him.
At lunch I saw people lining up to get their tickets, and they looked like they would be sold out soon. I sighed and Alexis reassured me that he would tell me. I just wanted it to happen already.
The day went on by and at the end I went to go get change. Caiden called my name and I turned around. "Babe, can I borrow like 5 bucks?" I reached for my purse. "For what?" I asked. "Snacks we have a game today. I'm starving." "What are you buying?! They only cost like 50¢." I said laughing. "I JUST NEED FOOD!!! Look at me I'm wasting away!" "I only have $4." "Thats okay ill get the rest from someone else!" I gave it to him and he kissed my lips and then ran away saying he loves me. I laughed at that idiot. 'But he's your idiot.' I thought. I went to practice and everyone was glad to see me back. I was doing okay this practice, but I just needed to strengthen my skills before tomorrow. Tomorrow was our last home game for the whole season and I needed to make it special. I worked and ran extra hard today. We all did. And we had practice from 2-6 today just for that. I know 4-5 hours of soccer seems hard, but you want to win right?
When I went home I ate a bunch of food. We had a taco night and I ate a lot. Then I went outside and ran with Max for about 20 minutes. I showered and sent everyone good night texts.
