I woke up and almost fell in the floor. I couldn't move from yesterday, all the hard work and running I did. I looked at the clock realizing I was late. I jumped up and put on a burgundy sweatshirt with black jeans and my black vans, leaving my hair down to do it at school. I ran out the door to catch the bus getting an apple. I ran for the bus and finally made it. I flopped down on the bus and Alexis looked at me weirdly. "Did you wake up late again?" I nodded taking a bite of my apple.
When we got to school I brushed out my hair putting it up in a messy bun. When we got into homeroom there was a lot of gossiping going around, so I jumped in and asked what was happening. "Someone said we got a new student!" Katherine exclaims. My eyes got wider and my interest was full on this kid. "Boy or girl?" "Boy!" "Oh my God! Where is he?" "He may be in the next class, I don't know." Then my best friend Brian came up go me and said he wasn't in our core classes but he was in mine and his specials." We looked at him weirdly. "How would you know?" Alexis asked. "Because I overheard the teachers saying." Brian usually knew what he was talking about. Then class started and nothing happened for two periods. I went go chorus and wondered of the boy was cute or not.
When we walked back to our Spanish class me and Alexis sat down and then the door opened, and my heart stopped. Like it literally stopped beating. We saw our guidance counselor walk in with this tall, tan colored, beautiful brown eyed boy. He had young Hayes Grier styled hair, that was chocolate brown. He looked away and us girls exchanged glances and smiled. He got his books and my teacher looked around to where he could sit. There was an empty seat behind me. My teacher widened her eyes at me and pointed on my direction for him to sit behind me. Then he looked over at me and our eyes met. I couldn't breathe. He walked over to the desk behind me and sat down. I slowly breathed out and Alexis and Katherine smirked at me. My teacher started talking and we opened our 'cuadernos', or notebooks in Spanish. We started writing things down when I felt a light tap on my shoulder. Oh God. I turned around and looked into the eyes of a heavenly chocolate brown soul. "What are we doing now?" He asked in a low yet cheeky voice. "We're writing down the warm up on the board. We're learning articles." I said almost stuttering. "Okay thank you." He said smiling showing his beautiful silver braces along with a white smile. Holy mother of the unicorns . I nodded and turned around and smiled to myself having a squealing fest inside me. The rest of class went by and Brian and the guys went to go meet him.
When we got to biology my teacher made him go up in front of the class asking us to tell him about himself. He slowly got up and walked to the board and started talking. "Well, my name is Caiden Stephenson. C-a-i-d-e-n is how you spell my name. My parents decided to give me a weird name so I can't have those key chains I always want." He said laughing at the end. We laughed too. "I am 16, and moved from Port Jervis New York. I exchanged for a football scholarship here. I love football, and that's about it." My teacher thanked him and he sat down.
The rest of the day went by and the girls and I had talked about him in soccer practice. While we were stretching Alexis knew I was interested. It's a bff thing you know. "Hey, I know you like him." "Hes cute I mean, but I don't know him yet." I said kicking the ball practicing my goal kicks. My coach made me, Amanda, and Scarlett practice on our own doing goal kicks because we were head strikers. The football players were walking by, and I saw Caiden. He seemed to be having fun with the boys. I snapped out ofmy thoughts when Dione Leslie called my name for me to kick. I walked up to y he ball and did my routine. Two steps left, three steps back. I ran up to the ball and kicked it hard. It went in like a rocket. As always. The football players started howling and I laughed. They were my besties. Caiden was even cheering g for me too. I blushed a little.
Soon we all went home and I told my mom about Caiden. Then I ate dinner and went to sleep.
