I woke up putting on my home jersey and my black jeans with my boots. I put my hair in a high ponytail and for the heck of it, put my nerd glasses on. My parents told me they would come to the game, and Austin was so excited. He always took pictures of me at my soccer games. And for a 4 almost 5 year old, he takes better pictures than me! He wants to be a photographer when he grows up.

I got driven to school and my morning classes went by in a hurry. When I was going to Spanish, I heard someone tell my name. I turn around to see Caiden in his football sweatshirt and khakis with Flights, flashing his beautiful smile at me. I couldn't help but smile back. "Hey Caiden." I said. "So, I saw your pictures on Instagram last night and also saw one video of you doing karate, and I'm definitely not going to fight you anytime soon!" I laughed but also felt kind of weird. Was he scared of me? That is all I need. Great. "Oh, well, I take sports very seriously." I said laughing. "I can tell. So, about that Spanish homework?" He said laughing.

We walked into class together and all the girls looked at me in awe and happiness. If one of them DARE says our 'ship name' again, I'm going to get physical with someone.

The rest of the day went by slowly and Alexis and I went to get snacks from the snack bar and we saw Caiden. Alexis smiled at me and said, "Ill see you in the locker room while you go talk to your boyfriend." I can't believe she just said that. I walked up and said Hi to him. "Hey, do you have a game today?" He asked. "Yea, sure do. It's a home game." "Oh well I'll swing by after practice to watch you. Everyone says I need to see you play." I rolled my eyes slightly blushing and asked, "Really? Who?" "When I say everyone, I mean everyone. It's like when I say 'I love you'. When I say it, I mean it." I giggled and told him I had to change and he gave me a hug wishing me luck. "Got my lucky socks." I said laughing. He chuckled saying, "Haha, I love ya!" My heart stopped. He waved bye and I walked to the locker room. He just said he loves me. And he said he meant it earlier. Oh jeez.

Halfway through the game we were losing. 3-5. I wasn't feeling it. I was so disappointed in our team but mostly me. It even started raining. We called in for our last quarter game and our coach gave us some pep talk. "Listen, guys, we are better than this. I know everyone's having an off day. I am too. I'm sure you're all tired and hungry, but we need to get out there, and do our best. I know what you're capable of. You know what you're capable of. You know what each and every one of you is capable of. I know we can win this last quarter. We can. If we just try, and let out our inner Wolves, we can definitely win. Now go out there and score some goals for us!" He said. We all put our hands in and did our cheer. "1 2 3 WOLVES! 4 5 6 UNITE! 7 8 9 WOLVES UNITE!!!" Then we went to our positions and we started to get goals. But one of our Juniors caused us a yellow card for bumping into one another. We had to do a goal kick. And I was the one who had to make the goal. If we did this, we would win. Everyone got into position, then I did my chant inside my head. ' One goals two goals, three goals four. How many can you get, just one more.' I looked around me and saw Caiden. He mouthed You can do it to me. He believed in me, and so did everyone else. I inhaled, then exhaled. I ran up to the ball and kicked it hard. Hard like yesterday's kick. The goalie caught it, but dropped it. Someone kicked it backwards, and it was coming for me. I got my head ready, ran up to it, and head butted it. It went shooting into the goal. I smiled as everyone cheered and laid back down on the grass, saying thank you to God. We didn't win, but we won the last quarter. I ran to my parents and they hugged me congratulating me. Austin hugged my legs and said, "Congwatuwations Kendie!" I smiled picking him up and kissing his little nose. I hear Caiden call me and turned around and hugged him, Austin still in my other arm.
