chapter 9

Todoroki's p.o.v.

"Sis. Do you have to play Christmas music?" I say, annoyed.

Hitoshi sat on my right, both of us in the backseat. I look toward him and see him smiling at his phone. "And who are you texting?" I say. I lean over to try and get a better look.

"None of your damn business." He puffs out, shielding his phone so I can't see.

"Will you both shut up!" Fuyumi sighed and turn the music up louder.

We were currently on our way to the festival. Shinsou, Fuyumi, and I.

I was actually a little nervous seeing Bakugou again. He was now an obsession of mine. Why? Well, I don't know. It could be me being desperate or it could be a real connection. Who knows.

I stare out the window. Looking at nothing in particular when I spot the cafe I bumped into Bakugou at.

I think back to him laying on me, and us staring at each other, to our encounter at Spencer's. Everything that has happened so far has made me feel happy. And to think it was only a few days later I'll see him again.

I'm pulled back to reality when Nene shuffles around on my lap. I focus off of her and see we are at the festival, and parked in a field nearby.

"Alright, boys. Stick together and don't get lost. Call me if you need anything." Fuyumi says, as she steps out of the car and runs off to catch up with her friend at the entrance.

"She knows we're not that much younger than her, right?" I hear Shinsou speak.

"Don't worry about, let's go" I say. I put Nene in her carrier bag, and get it onto my back. Then I take my phone out to text Bakugou.

Me and hitoshi make it to the ticket booths and hand over our pre-bought tickets. Once we finish we see Midoriya and Bakugou.

"Hey, Hitoshi, Todo!" Midoriya says, giving us both a hug then standing by Shinsou.

"Tch..." Bakugou says, coming up behind Midoriya. "Dumbasses" he says, sticking out his tongue.

"Hello" Shinsou says, blushing because Midoriya is standing extra close.

"Hey" I say, emotionless, yet I smile because it's Katsuki I'm speaking to.

We began to walk and talk about random things when I spot something I've never had before.

"Hey, I'll be right back..." I say to the group and start walking off.

"Where do you think he's going?" I hear Midoriya say, before I walk away.

"I dunno...."

When I walk back over and see they went to a game stand. I walk over to see Hitoshi trying to win Midoriya something.

"Hey guys, I'm back." I say, stuffing my mouth with curly fries.

"Hmm? Damn it, Icy-hot. You could've told me you were getting food." Bakugou says, holding onto his tummy. "I'm gonna starve-" I put a fry in his mouth.

We stay like this for a second, and then he starts to chew. "Thanks, I guess.." he mumbled the rest and turns away, trying to cover the blush on his face.

Me and Katsuki continue to share the box of curly fries until it's empty.

By then, both Midoriya and Shinsou are carrying many stuffed prizes. Midoriya has a lamb, a pizza, and a big cat plushie. And Shinsou has a big monkey, and a sushi with a face plushie.

I look over to Bakugou and see him checking his phone. He looks up at me and grins sadly. Like something bad happen.

"Hey we gotta fucking go, Deku. It's almost time for our damn performance." He says, eyes still on me.

"Aww, okay. See ya'll later" he says, skipping off. Shinsou waves bye.

"I don't want you to go..." i say to Bakugou, pouting a little. It feels like I've just got him, like what if it's not the same when I see him again.

He blushes and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Shut the fuck up, you dumbass. You know damn well I'll see you later." He says, rolling his eyes.

'Oh right!' I thought to myself.

He then says goodbye to Nene and runs off towards where Midoriya went.

I feel Hitoshi staring at me and turn to him. "What?" I ask.

"What's up with you and Blasty?" He asks, smirking a little.

"What about you and Midoriya?"

"I asked first." He says back.

"Nothing really. Just taking some intrest in him, I guess."

"What kind of interest."

He leans in a little like he's trying to intimidate me. "The love kind." I say, confidently. "You're turn."

"Oh well uh- Izu my crush..." he backs down.

"Called it." I say, looking around.

"What'd you say?"

"Nothing...nothing." I say, then I spot the stage. "Come on it's going start soon."

As I walk impatiently to the stage I think of Katsuki.

Who would've thought I could have someone special to me.
