Todoroki' p.o.v.
Me and Shinsou find a good spot to sit by the portable stage. I take the blanket out of Nene's bag, and lay it out. We sit and wait.
Impatient.
I start to text Katsuki, then realize he probably doesn't have his phone on him.
"Boo!" Someone says, grabbing onto my shoulders. I'm to busy thinking to react, and it's kinda delayed when I realized it was my sister and her friend.
"Oh hey Fuyumi, and hello" I say, making room for them on the blanket.
"What's got you thinking?" My sister asks. But before I could answer Shinsou does.
"A boy." He says, eyes still on his phone in his lap.
"Shit, no-" I say.
"Really?" Fuyumi says after. " oh gosh, what does he look like? Is he cute, hot, both? How'd you meet, when-" as she continues to ask questions, the lights around the stage begin to dim, signaling the start of the performance.
It was great, the performance. The movements were flowing with the music, and the dancers with each other. The costumes were traditional Japanese outfits, kimono like tops with tights. And when Katsuki came on stage that was the best part.
He looked so peaceful, and demoted. He loved dancing, I could tell. With every step he took he gave it his all, and I almost envy him.
We make eye contact and he winks, moving swiftly along with the rest of the dancers.
I could honestly watch him dance for hours. And I'm willing to do so.
The performance ends, and the lights dim. The music stops, and the claps upshot.
Watching Katsuki made me realize how delicate he could be. I take a deep breath, almost forgot how to breathe, and clap along everyone else.
After a few minutes, Bakugou and Midoriya come over to the blanket. They sit besides each other on the grass by us. "Hey guys." Midoriya greet. We all say hi back.
"Hello...." Bakugou say, shyly. Cute.
I see Shinsou telling Midoriya he didn't have to sit on the grass and to come sit by him. "Gosh, it's cold." Midoriya says, cuddling into Hitoshi's side.
"Hey, Bakugou come sit by me" I say.
"Fine." He puffs out his cheeks and takes a sit.
"So who's this?" Fuyumi asked. Again, as I'm about the answer Shinsou does first.
"The boy." He says, looking at me. I glare back.
"Oh cool~. Well, I'm Fuyumi, Shoto's big sister, and this is my friend Sara." She says, putting her hand out in front of me to shake his. Sara puts up the peace sign.
"H-hi.... Bakugou." He says, giving her hand a shake.
She giggled, "so how'd you two meet." She says, curiously.
"Uh, I accidentally bumped into him at a cafe." He says, looking away.
"I thought I bumped into you" I tease.
"Shut up, asshat- loser" he says, snapping back. I put my hands up in defense.
"Aww, how sweet- oh, Sara let's go I saw a crepe stand that way." She says, and they both get up to leave.
"So what are we gonna do now" Shinsou says, looking over to the workers taking apart the stage.
"I dunno- but the fireworks should be starting soon, right?" Midoriya replies.
