Bakugou pulls up to a fancy restaurant. Wearing black skinny jeans and primary colored striped button up shirt. He parks and can already see Shoto sitting at a table on the balcony of the grand place.

Shoto gives a small smile and waves, and Katsuki waves back. He walks in and is asked for the party name, "Are you here to see someone?", a bubbly sherbet haired lady asks.

"Um, Todoroki?", he says, a bit unsure of himself and kinda uncomfortable.

"Ah, you must be here to see Mr. Todoroki's son. A date, I assume?", she presses, a large grin on her face.

"Uh, yes.", his face heats up at the mention of the date and he shifts on his feet.

The lady gestures for Katsuki to follow her, "Right this way, sir!". She beams.

They walk up the spiral stairs to the balcony Katsuki saw Shoto at. When they arrive, Shoto stands and thanks the women, "Thank you, Takushi."

"My pleasure.", she bows a little then walks of. Katsuki walks toward Shoto, only to have Shoto eagerly meet him half way.

Shoto beams a smile and wraps his arms around Katsuki's slim waist. "H-hello to you too.", Katsuki chuckles lightly and hugs Shoto back.

"I've missed you so, so much. You have no idea.", he mumbles into Katsuki's shoulder. Katsuki laughs again as he's lifted in Shoto's arms, almost falling over his shoulder,

"I think I can tell by how you're acting. Put me down already." Instead of listening to Katsuki, Shoto walks him over to his chair and sits with Katsuki on his lap. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?!", Bakugou screeches as light kisses are peppered over his exposed neck.

"Showing affection.", he continues to kiss Katsuki. "I've missed you...and....I...want...you...to...know...that.", he says between kisses.

"Well, I know. So stop.", Katsuki pushes Shoto's face away with his palm and gets off his lap. He bends down and gives Shoto a kiss, and when he pulls away, Shoto almost falls trying to receive another one, pouting afterwards. "I can't tell if you miss me or if you miss my damn lips.", he sighs and sits in the chair across from Shoto.

"Could be both. By the way, you look amazing today.", Shoto hums taking a sip of whatever's in his cup.

"Uh-huh.", Katsuki hums, clearly seeing Shoto's attempt to change the subject, even if it was a genuine compliment.

"Want something to drink?", Shoto rises an eyebrow.

"Sure.", Katsuki picks up the menu and skims through.

They get a drink ordered and melt into conversation about what they'd been up to for the past couple of days. Touching various topics and funny stories, and slowly dwelling down to something more important---

- Shoto's job.

"Wait, really! Your CEO, now?", Katsuki cheers with a smug smile. "I guess I've underestimated you."

Todoroki fakes shock and betrayal, "Why would you?"

"I'm joking", Bakugou laughs. "Never doubted you for a minute."

Shoto scoffs, "Wow, not even a second- never doubted me for a minute." They laugh together at their cocky banter and took a bite of their meaty steak that had just arrived. "You won't see me for a while, maybe just on the weekends, but after that I'll hold a lot of control in my schedule.", Shoto hums at the delicious chunk he swallowed.

Katsuki nods his head, "That's good. Almost missed you this time, but I think seeing you on weekends is just fine." Katsuki eats a bit of his spicy serving of curry. "So, why did you want to become CEO and not just work there in the first place.", he addresses what's been on his mind.

"Well, first, I was the orginal heir. But the other reason is you, Katsuki.", Katsuki's head peeks up and his brows furrowed in confusion. "I want to be there with you all the time. I can't really do that if I work strict hours and some college class, now can I? I need to be able to have my own hours." He explains.

"Okay....", Katsuki urges him to go on. Knowing there was more to it.

"I also want to take care of you. Like, as a boyfriend. You live alone and as much as you are great at cooking and cleaning, you don't exactly have a outlet, you know? You might think of dance as an outlet, but it isn't when you think of it as work, Katsuki. I want to take care of the things you can't, even if it's taking care of you.", Shoto searches Katsuki's eyes for some sort of response, and as soon as he receives it, he panics.

"You think I can't take care of myself?", Katsuki shakes his head. "Wow...", he dryly laughs.

"No. That's not what I meant. Of course you can take care of yourself.", Shoto wearily says, not wanting to make the other upset. But you see, Katsuki was already at his tipping point.

"No, because that's what you said." His face held an expression that was not easy to explain. His brows furrowed with disbelief and hurt, he pouted only in anger, and his eyes, pricked with sadness, stared blankly into Shoto's.

Todoroki begins to feel guilty for the blank, sad eyes staring at him, "Katsuki, don't think I'm belittling you, because you do so much that it inspired me. I just want to nurture you. Nurture the one I lo--- care about.". Shoto cursed under his breath and looks down to his lap ashamed.

He couldn't even say 'I love you' yet.

"You can't say it, can you? Is  I love you something you can't say? Unbelievable, Shoto.", Katsuki's eyes pricked with tears. The argument, that was once about Shoto's reason to work, has escalated.

"I can, just is that something you want, you haven't even said it yourself...", Shoto was bow about to cry too.

The many unspoken words were beginning to eat at them. But at the same time, they didn't need them. Their communication was so surreal, they didn't need to speak anymore.

Katsuki frantically wiped away the tears that were starting a fall and stood up. He grabbed his coat off the chair then walked toward the balcony doors.

Without another word, or second glance he walk out on Shoto. Leaving him looking, with tears in his eyes, towards the blank stained glass doors.

No words came about.

No movement was made.

Just tears falling down a pale, sad face.
