Hyperdimension Neptunia: Legend of the Male CPU (HDN x Male Reader)

Prologue: Shares vs. Viruses

Third P.O.V.

Gamindustri: A land in which CPUs rule and Game Mascots rally under them, away from the humans. Gamindustri is built with peace and prosperity that has four nations all over the world. Each of the nations are ruled by one CPU and they all ensure that their nation is always stable and that the people support them with shares. CPU Black Heart rules her Land of Black Regality, Lastation. CPU White Heart rules her Land of White Serenity, Lowee. CPU Green Heart rules her Land of Green Pastures, Leanbox. Finally, CPU Purple Heart rules her Land of Purple Progress, Planeptune. A long time ago, these four nations fought against each other stealing each nation's Share Energy so that one land can dominate all of Gamindustri. This war took place in a land above Gamindustri called Celestia. The war went on for centuries, that is until CPU Purple Heart reached out to each of the nations and proposed a Friendship Treaty to stop fighting. When the three other CPUs agreed to this, the war was over and all nations decided to raise their shares all on their own. However, this treaty was no longer needed as all nations truly became close friends and allies after they all fought together to bring down some of Gamindustri's most deadly villains. The Deity of Sin, Arfoire, the CPU of the ancient nation of Tari in the Ultra Dimension, and finally Kurome Ankokuboshi, the Dark CPU alter-ego of Uzume Tennouboshi from the Zero Dimension. Thanks to the CPUs, their sisters, and other allies, they were able to keep all three dimensions safe from terror once more.

However, that is all about to change soon as a new threat declares war on all of Gamindustri and corrupt it in order to become the Land of Dark Corruption, The Virus Empire, ruled by the king of viruses, Viron. He threatens to invade all of the land and destroy each of the nations if the CPUs don't surrender, and not to his surprise, they defiantly refuse. War struck out once again and the CPUs have had to fight to Viron and his forces for nearly a year, but that all is about to end as there is only one thing that was left to save all of Gamindustri. Legends used to say that there was once a male CPU that had the power to keep all of Gamindustri at hand, and he was CPU Gold Heart, the CPU that rules all of the Glorious Gamindustri.

April 12, 20XX

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

While it feels that we've fighting for decades, we've been fighting for a year now only come so far that we're now fighting on the exact date that this all started. Let me just tell you that I was just a normal guy in Planeptune going to high school at first, but one day I found an item that changed my entire destiny. It turned me to the legendary CPU Gold Heart, I always thought that he was just a myth and that he wasn't real, but it turns out that I was him all this time and I never knew my whole life. Once the war broke out, I vowed to help restore all of Gamindustri and prevent it from being corrupted by viruses and restore all of the shares that once made all of our land peaceful. Not because that I'm the male CPU, but because that it's all the right thing to do. I had to leave my friends and family in Planeptune to fight and try and end this war, however in the process, I was able to meet each of the nations respectable CPUs that owned their nations, and not only that. . . but I've grew so close to all of them that I practically love them. Right now I'm fighting Viron in my HDD form in his home nation, Vitropolis. The four goddesses that I love are currently by my side aiding in my fight to defeat Viron. This is probably the biggest battle that Gamindustri will ever face and not going to just stand down and let this bastard take our land.

I clashed swords with Viron and we are both in the middle of a standoff testing one another's strength. 

Viron: Your power is astonishing. You've adapted ever since the last time that we fought. I'm impressed.

I ignore Viron's compliment as I'm still trying to put all of my strength into my sword to fight back against this bastard.

Viron: But you should that your power means nothing against a being made of viruses, the very thing that can corrupt you and those other goddesses. Besides, that form of yours won't last much longer as long as your in my nation where shares don't have a place to exist at all.

Viron then end up winning as he knocks me back and I yell out in pain from the devastating attack that he threw onto me. I fell down on one knee and touched my right cheek and felt something, when I removed my hand from my cheek I noticed some blood on my hand giving me a frustrated look and I glare back at Viron gaining the upper advantage against me.

Viron: Ha! See? Even your own power begins to betray you. So much for being the so-called legendary Male CPU.

I cast my Hyper Heal skill to heal the wounds that Viron put on me and I extend my sword back out and get into a fighting stance.

Gold Heart (Y/N): You bastard! You sent your men to nearly kill me the day that your forces struck Planeptune, you nearly kill my friends and the ones I love, and finally you tricked me into believing that my own friends were my enemies! I'm never going to forgive you, you son of a bitch!

Viron: To hell with forgiveness, toying with your feelings was a pleasant show that I put on. Too bad that it wasn't enough to ensure that those blasted goddesses wouldn't come to your aid. No matter, I'm going to delete all five of you and turn all of Gamindustri into the Virus Empire.

Purple Heart (Neptune): That won't happen!

Purple Heart floats down right beside me and gives the same determined glare that I put on a second ago.

Purple Heart (Neptune): (Y/N) has helped all of us over the past year and made sure that all of our nations stay the way they are! And to make sure that you and your allies don't stand a chance against any of us!

Black Heart and the rest of the CPUs then regroup with me as well to face the evil virus king as well.

Black Heart (Noire): After all you've done, you can definitely say that you are beyond forgiveness! I know (Y/N) to be an idiot at times, but no matter what happens he's still my idiot!

Green Heart (Vert): That's correct. He's even valued our lives ever since he met us and unlike your sadistic persona, he'll be here to make sure that all lives are safe no matter what!

White Heart then scowls as she points her axe at Viron with a mean look on her face.

White Heart (Blanc): Hope you got your ass prepared for slaughter caused we're about to beat yours up until we get our damn shares back!

Viron chuckles a little as he slowly flies up into the air while making a red aura radiate off of him.

Viron: You five really believe that you can make a difference? Very well, come! Show me what you all are made of! I'll carve upon your flesh and show you just how hopeless the very thought of defeating me really is!

White Heart (Blanc): Bring it, asshole!

Purple Heart then turns to (Y/N) with concern in her eyes.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Are you sure that we're all mentally prepared for this?

Gold Heart then gives a smile back at Purple Heart.

Gold Heart (Y/N): I wouldn't be more sure if I hadn't brought your sisters and and the other CPUs along as well. Like I said to you once Neptune, "You and the others that I love are the things that kept me alive all of this time in this world, so no matter what I'm going to keep fighting for all of our lives because I love you."

Purple Heart smiles briefly at that as her anxiety is gone just like that and she turns back towards where Viron is along with the other CPUs. They all get into a fighting stance with their weapons out and before they go on to have their final battle with Viron, Gold Heart just has one thought on his mind.

Gold Heart (Y/N): (It's time, (Y/N)! Time to give it everything that we've got! Over the last year, you've done so much and helped so many people, so now it's time to show them why they should always believe in you no matter what!)
