Chapter 2: The Mysterious Watch. The Invasion Begins.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

April 12, 20XX

Location: (L/N) Residence

Time: Early Morning

The next day came for me as the sun came up signaling the bright and early day has just started. That also meant that it was also time for me to get up and get prepared to go to school again. An alarm clock started buzzing that annoying constant sound of discomfort that meant that it was time for another day of boring school. I wake up groaning and yawning from the sound that my alarm clock was making and I snatched it off of my nightstand to then turn it off. I place it back down and I get up in my PJs about to get myself ready to go back to school.

(Y/N): (Damn it. Sometimes I feel like that going to school early like this is a lost cause.)

I walk on over to where my closet was so that I can pick out my clothes before going into the shower to clean myself from last night, however there was something behind me that I didn't notice.

Behind me, a weird golden ball of the light was at my window and I was too busy picking out my clothes to even notice it. The light shifts left and right for a few seconds before it teleports inside of my room and it levitates down onto my nightstand. Once it does, it then shapeshifts into some futuristic golden wristwatch that in the center of where it was supposed to tell time, it inside showed a power symbol that was apparently the Sharicite. I don't know much about the Sharicite, besides that it stores the share energy levels of Planeptune, but that's basically it.

Once I was finished picking out my casual clothes for when I get out of school in the afternoon, I turn around and lay them flat on my bed. It was then that I looked up and noticed the watch on my nightstand, and I raised an eyebrow at the device.

(Y/N): What the. . . A watch. . .?

I walk around my bed to where my nightstand was and I eye the weird looking device with complete confusion. This is weird even for me. Did my parents get me this? Did Kazuki sneak here last night? I really don't know, but it's all really mysterious. I slowly reach my hand out for the watch to inspect it, but as I do something weird happens.

I felt some abnormality in my body like something tickled me and also my eyes glowed blue for a split second that I barely noticed. I pause my reach for the watch as that was just really weird. I don't want to get involved in some weird shit once I put that on, but to be honest, it did look kind of cool. As much as someone else would tell me to just ignore it, I pick up the wristwatch and I wrap it around my left wrist.

(Y/N): Hmm, not bad.

I inspect the watch around my wrist and it did look pretty cool for someone like me. I smiled for a brief second. . . that is until the most craziest thing happened to me.

I all of a sudden felt something like a needle cut down through my wrist and it made yelp a little in pain.

(Y/N): Yow! What the hell?!?!

It felt like getting two shots at once. . . in the same place. After that happens, my body felt slightly paralyzed for a second and I drop down onto my knees while I had my right hand to my head.

(Y/N): (What's happening?! I-It's like. . . my body is being overpowered!)

That was the moment that I knew that this was a bad idea. I try to take the watch off of my arm, but I pulled as hard as I can and it wouldn't come off making me worried. I stand back up still feeling all of the weird shocks on my entire body and go over to the wall and try and smash the watch into pieces or at least put a dent in it. Sadly, that didn't work either as it stayed undamaged.
