"Hello" Steven said in the phone.

"Who is this?" a male voice answered in the phone. And that male was Joanne's father.

-------

"Uh oh, this isn't her father right?"Joanne's eyes widened in shock. They were making their way to the car.

"Um, yes it is. Where is-" Joanne stole the phone.

"Hello?" She said.

"Joanne Marie Wilson. You are going to explain what's going on. Why did you suddenly disappear and who was answering your phone?" Steve just happened to hear what he said and he stole the phone.

"Listen pops, she ain't coming back for awhile. She's on a trip to find herself. Just like me and my friends," Lies I say! Joanne thought, "and I am her friend."

"Where is my daughter?" her father was angry. The car pulled out.

"Why would you care Mr. No Show? She told me about how you never showed care for her. And now you receive a call saying your daughter is missing and you 'man up' and call her? Unforgivable! I am so-- give me my phone Steve!-- Never! Don't you think you can show up and save the day because-- Steve! Let me talk to him" Joanne fought for the phone. When she had a grip she was on top of Steven. She blushed heavily before snatching her phone away.

"Hello?" she said. Then she realized he probably hung up on him. Her head turned slowly to Steve, who was giggling like a little kid.

"Call him back if you really wanna talk" Steven said. She glared at him.

"You're missing the point completely" she muttered dialing his number. After half a ring he picked up.

"Joanne?" he said quickly.

"Hurry and say what you were gonna say. I'm not telling you me location because it wouldn't matter. You wouldn't come to find me. But whatever what is it?" she talked quickly and quietly.

"I've raised such a selfish child. Yet, she learns from her masters. I didn't go to the funeral nor visit because so much was going on at once. Two weeks before the accident your mother was in the hospital. She had a heart attack. Even though she just turn 40 the doctors are wondering what triggered the cardiac arrest. She's been in the hospital since. I heard about the accident two days after it happened. I heard Trevor was gone and you had minor injuries. Your mother was trying to make me visit you. She can hardly talk right now. We would be lucky if she can say a sentence without stuttering. I called your phone non-stop this week and-"

"What? I didn't get any calls. And why didn't you tell me about mom?" she was confused. Steve remembered how easy it was to delete the video off her phone.

"That's why I called. I called and texted but you never responded" his voice was sad. Joanne's face covered her eyes again. Steve was able to hear perfectly. His hearing was astounding.

"Maybe those girls had easy access to your phone" Steve insisted. Joanne's heart stopped. Literally.

"What's this pain in my chest?" Joanne said. The pain of guilt was settling in. Her hand was over her heart and she passed out. Drew looked back.

"Oh crap, what happened?" Steven shook his head and hung the phone up.

"How nostalgic" he chuckled to himself. He knew exactly how she felt at the moment. Her head was on his shoulder as she dreamt she was walking on an never ending road.

*When she woke up*

"Where am I?" she said waking up. Her head was on Chris's lap.

"You passed out, we got our stuff and we're on our way to the park" he informed her.
