"Why me?" she muttered to herself.

"Because you seemed sad and depressed when I first met you, look at you now" he said.

"Depressed."

"True true but at least you had some fun today. Even though we were at the club for half an hour. So... what did Cayden do?" he changed the subject.

"Nothing. I told him I was going to the bathroom and I decided to ditch." Joanne stared at the window.

"Good girl." He said looking out his.

He poked her cheek and she suddenly woke up.

"Hm?" she said waking up.

"We're here." She opened her door and almost fell out the car. Her leg had fallen asleep and she could barely stand. Chris helped her walk inside the house.

"Whose house is this?" She asked looking at the huge interior.

"My sister's. Sh, her kid is sleeping"  Steve said. He took her to her guest room that had two beds and a chair. He and the two brothers went to get their luggage. She laid on top of the bed as she waited for them. She put a pillow over her face and released a muffled scream.

"Who are you?" a little boy asked. He was no older than eleven. Her eyes got bigger and she moved the pillow so she could she the owner of the voice.

"Haven't you heard not to talk to strangers?" she asked. He shrugged.

"Most thieves would say that considering that your in my house." She arched her eyebrow.

"How old are you?" she asked.

"Ten. Who are you?"

"Joanne. Why are you up so late?"

"It's summer. And my dad is at work and my mom's asleep so they can't do anything. I planned it all out, smart right?" he grinned revealing his lost teeth. She smiled and nodded.

"Antonia, why are you up so late? I don't think Katie will be happy about this" Steve said. He brought in their luggage in.

"It's Anthony, get it right, fool" he said to him. Steve looked at him and shook his head.

"Bed now. Or I'm telling" Steve threatened. You would think Steve would win but this ten year old is smarter than he seems.

"Tell her now and I'll tell her about that chick and the guys. Oh and I'll also tell her your wasted." Steve walked up to the blond kid an lifted him up until his head touched the ceiling.

"How about you keep your mouth shut and I'll drop you and pretend it's an accident?"

"Or how about I keep my mouth shut, you drop me and I'll scream and tell her?" 'What a smart ten year old' Joanne thought. She wouldn't have thought of that at lightning speed. Then Steve did something that left both of them in shock. He smiled and put him down.

"Tell her." His smile was evil.

"No."

"Now."

"Over my dead body."

"Sure bout that? I know how to kill people and make it look an accident." Anthony's eyes bulged out of his head and ran to his mother's room.

"Your a horrible uncle." Joanne commented.

"An intoxicated one too." he smiled sheepishly. She shook her head. He then continued taking the luggage over to both sides of the bed.
