He grabbed her arms and dragged her over to his car. He opened the car door.
"In"
"No way" she said. He inhaled the unknown substance and exhaled it in her face. As she choked on the smoke he didn't back down. He opened the door and pulled out a knife.
"Get in" she hopelessly jumped in. He went on the driver's side and offered her some water.
"Take me home" she said after taking a sip.
"Sure after I take you to my house" he said. "What time is it?"
"No, take me home" she commanded.
"Hey,I'm the driver" he said.He then locked the door and started the car. "Seat belt" he told her and drove off.
"Take me home" she said with more confidence.
"Straight home" he assured her,"Where do you live?" After she told him her address he nodded and lit a cigarrette.
"You can light a cigarette while driving?" she asked. The boy chuckled to himself.
"It's one of my many talents" he said, "So who died?"
"Can you be more considerate? My fiance" she said.
"No. Can you be less emotional?" he scoffed.
"Your being extremely rude right now. Try losing someone you loved" she said.
"Ha, funny right? I tried losing her and succeeded. My wife died a year ago. And look at me. Two weeks later I got a girlfriend. There's no need to grieve it won't get you anywhere" he replied.
"Your insufferable. What kind of person are you? Your heartless. I lost him a week ago on the worst day of my life" her voice cracked.
"Someone close to you dying should be the worst day of your wife. Dur" he said sarcastically. She stuck her middle finger at him. She blinked a few tears away.
"You're a jerk" she said.
"I know. I hear that a lot. Do I turn here?" She nodded.
"Why are you so annoying?" she asked. Joanne is more of an independent person so she's really not used to people giving doing favors.
"I thought I was helping"
"Well why are you "helping" me?"
"Because I'm a nice person and I like helping people" he said proudly. Joanne almost laughed at the thought for she knew that most of that wasn't true.
"Yeah sure whatever. Make a left." He did as he was told."Stop here" The car came to a halt.
"What a peculiar color" he commented on her house.
"I know. Bye" she got out. A mischievous grin crawled on his face and left a big fat kiss on top of his lips. He got out of the car. "Uhh"
"We're leaving in ten pack your bags" he said.
"What the heck? I don't even know you. And I don't wanna be kidnapped by some stranger." They walked inside the house
"Steven Mason Greater at your service. What's your name? See, I'm friendly and I'm not going to kidnap you. So hurry up and pack It's a long ride" he said.
"No" was all she said. Steven tried a different approach.
"Okay last chance" he said.
"No, get out of my house" she demanded. Steven frowned and slowly pulled out a match.
"Your the stubborn kind huh? Pack up or I'll set this place to flames" he said wickedly. He lit the match and put it near something so flammable it could explode.
