Mark knew that there was only one person who could help him get to the bottom of what was wrong with Isabella and that was derek. So he took imiedate action.

"Derek" mark belowed as he pushed his way in to OR2.
"Mark i am operating here" Derek bellowed back.
"Its Isabella" was all Mark needed to say to get Dereks attention.
"What about her" Derek asked softly
"Her story doesnt make sense something doesn't add up, when she saw Amelia, she was suddenly scared and hid behind you not wanting to be seen"
"She used to hide behind me when she was little, feeling Anxious or scared" Derek remembered.

"Then Amelia mentioned a Connor and all the colour from her face went, i brought him up again and she went stiff and terrified thats not Iggy. She may not be as confident as the rest of you shephards but with us who she is comfortable with she isnt like that. Derek i am telling you something is going on" Mark said more forceful.

"We need to call mum" Mark said.
"No mum doesnt need a call, when im done here we will talk to her" derek suggested.
"Your seriously calling mum about me" a voice shouted, derek and Mark turned expecting to see Isabella but it was Amelia they both let a breath out they didnt know they were holding.

"Not you Isabella" Derek explained.
"You dont know" Amelia said both men looked at her in confussion.
"You havent been home for ages so you don't know"
"Dont know what" mark demanded
"The crap Isabella got for not wanting to be a doctor. Liz and Nancy took her to work with them, they even turned up at the hospital i worked at wanting for me to do the same and she followed me around asking all the right questions pleasing me seeming interested. She knows all the knowledge because all we talk about is medicine. Every fmaily meal they corner her bullying her into medicine and each time she sits there taking it no one stood up for her, she had enough and went off traveling we all knew she was putting off her decision and a year turned into two the minute she got home, she got ambushed. Not a break. Shes really good at drawing well not good amazing. Derek we are amazing doctors shes amazing too. She needs someone in her corner"

"I am in her corner" mark and derek both said firmly.
"Show her that"

"Amy whose Connor?" Mark asked.
Mark and derek got more worried as Amelias facial expression harden, she seemed uncomfortable  shifting on her feet. They knew something was wrong.

"You need to ask Isabella not my place and mark dont call mum she will make it worse" Amelia informed them as Mark walked out the OR and ignored Amelia and rang the shephards mum who was grateful to hear the where abouts of her youngest, she was on her way and would be there the next day to take her home.

"Were you in her corner?" Derek asked amelia getting back to the operation.
Amelia sighed shaking her hear "No I wasnt, I knew that my opinion wouldnt impacted them so I too allowed them to belittle her dream. Our little sister is a lot stronger than we think" amelia told derek.
"I havent spent much of my day with her but i can tell that" derek smiled as a moving figure in the gallery caught his eye, he looked up and saw his grown up baby sister walking into the gallery to watch her brother at work.

"Shes pretty grown up" derek smiled.
"She is, not the 15 year old you left behind"
"left behind?" Derek questioned taken a back by Amelias comment.

"I can hear the two of you please we dont need to share embarrassing stories please marks already told everyone my name is iggy" Isabella said through the intercom.
"Iggy he still calls you that'' Amelia smiles "how did that come about?"

"Its not an embarasing story" Derek reminded his younger sister.
"He did call me Izzy, he was the only one to call me Izzy he had nicknames for all of us, hes why we call Liz, Liz anyway i couldnt say isabella so i would say Igabella nor could i say Izzy which became Iggy and mark liked it so it stuck" isabella retold the story.
"See not embarasing" derek said.
"No your right" isabella said as she sat back.

"Are you ready to watch me save a life amazingly" Derek said to his younger sister trying to impress her.
"Defiently show me" isabella beamed.
"And she doesnt want to be a doctor" Derek laughed
"Shes use to us shephards showing her cool surgery so she amuses us and watches this has been her childhood jumping from OR to OR watching mum being a nurse, watching Liz in general and watching Nancy deliver babies and us doing this each time she sits there happily watching us not complaining."

"Because I am amazing" was suddenly heard through the intercom causing Derek and Amelia to start laughing.
"Yes you are" they both laughed.
