The living room of merediths house had been converted into a cinema and covered with blankets and lots of poeple.

Amelia, Mark and Lexi, marks girlfriend, shared one end of the sofa, Meredith and Derek in the middle, Cristina and Alex,  merediths friends next to meredith and on the other end next to Alex  Jackson Avery and april who also lived at Merediths and on the floor with lots of balnkets was isabella there wasnt enough room on the sofa she was getting squashed between mark and Derek so went on the floor she didnt mind.

Isabella quiet enjoyed watching her favourite show with all these poeple watching them squirm as they all wanted to shout what the doctors in the show should be doing. It was her entertainment.

In the show a guy came in he had been hit head on by a truck and was in rough shape, there was continous moans from the doctors as they wanted to shout what to do but Derek couldn't hold it in anymore.

"They need to get a head CT quickly" derek shouted.
As everyone in that room moaned at him chucking their popcorn at him.

Isabella had thrown all of her remaining popcorn at derek so quietly walked into the kitchen to get more not noticing she was followed by derek.

"Hey" he whispered as he joined the kitchen scaring Isabella.
"Its really great having you here" he whispered.
"Its good to be here and to see you" she said back as she walked away with her replenshied popcorn bowl but Derek pulled her into the main hallway he wasnt done talking.

"Please not another bombarding" she begged.
"No no" he laughed "i wanted to apoligse"
"What for?" Isabella couldnt recall anything derek needed to apolgise for she had already forgiven him and amrk for the gallery.
"The way i left"
"You needed to go, you just found your best friend in bed with your wife it was probably leave or punch his lights out".

"Exactly but i should have explained it to you"
"I was 15, it didnt need explaining" she reassured him.
"But the way you found out wasnt right"

Isabella didnt know he knew that fact she kept from him well he never called after he left so she never told. Isabella was meant to be going fishing with derek the following day but when she turned up to the house she found mark in dereks place, not wearing alot and no derek Addison explained what had happened. Isabella just smiled  staying spending the morning with Addison while mark slept she was then the one to tell her family well she and Addison, addison didnt feel it was fair on a 15 year old to break the news about her brothers marriage.

"I was teaching you to drive" Derek softly remembered, feeling guilty.
"Derek you werent the best teacher, you thought i was gonna crash all the time. Addison was amazing she wasnt to over protective or laid back  she was just right and i passed so its all good" Isabella reassured him

"I should have  been in your corner"
"What do you mean my corner?" Isabea was confused by the statement she felt she was pretty capable to stand up for herself, she has been doing that for as long as she can remember.
"When everyone was bullying you into medicine i should have stood up for you" Derek explained
"I stood up for myself, I was okay" Isabella smiled
"You know Amelias right" derek smiled
"Dont say that to loud she will hear them we will never hear the end of it but right about what"
"Your the odd shephard out"
"Oh thankyou" Isabella said a little hurt at the name her sisters have always called her.
"Its a good thing. Medicine has enough shephards it doesnt need another, art needs you, your calm and collective the rest of us fly off  the handles and are pretty stubborn. You help everyone no matter how many times they hurt you. Your kind oh so kind." Derek gushed
"You all are pretty stubborn" they both laughed.

"Im sorry that you became Amelia's designated driver once i left"
"No apology needed i was the only one who wouldnt judge her or ask her thousand questions why. She was hurting still is hurting and yes she dealt with it in the wrong way but shes my sister and i prefer she rang me then got her self in danger"
"Your to kind" derek smiled as he hugged his sister.

"I dont think i like this whole grown up Isabella. Shes to grown up"
"You sound like mum and the three" Isabella smiled seeing the shock from her comparison
"You still call them that" Dsrek laughed.
"Yeah only way can moan about them without them knowing"
"They know" derek laughed
"Of course they do they know everything" Isabella pointed out.

"Their the three, all knowing three" the brother and sister said together
"Yeah but we love them"
"Yeah we do" derek smiled back at his not so little sister.

"We should probably get back" isabella suggested.
"Really but its totrture not being able to correct" derek moaned
"Its entertaining to me" isabella smiled
"What ever you say" derek whispered as they landed back in their designated seats.

"Everything okay?" Meredith whispered
"Everything is great" derek smiled back kissing her forehead. "Just great" he smiled looking down at Isabella.
