You sat in the filthy bar trying your best not to touch anything as Gibbs interviewed various sailors. You tried your best to keep your head down to avoid recognition.

"Victoria!" A drunk man ran up to you. Your old boss.

"Where ye been? I knew the East India Company had the wrong woman!" He exclaimed as he soon fell over.

"Yeah. They did." You cringed as you tried to step over him.

"Victoria! We missed you at the bar aye. No bartender as pretty as you!" Another drunk man walked up and put his arm around you.

"Ah yes you must be talking about my sister." You said as you avoided his grasped and kept walking to the other end of the place.

"Seems like you've got men falling at your feet here, Victoria." Jack said dryly.

"Would you like to go around the room and find the girls that recognize you?" You shot back.

"Y/n!" You tried to find where the voice came from, confused someone knew your real name. You finally saw who.

"Andrew!" You exclaimed as you ran up to the Italian and hugged him. He was the only one you ever revealed your true identity to, seeing as he was also from the Mediterranean, and he understood you a bit.

"I thought the crown got you?" He asked. Happy to see you.

"You really expect them to hold me?" You laughed.

"Of course I should have known the would not know what to do with you. Too cunning for any man on these seas." His accent made you giggle as he stroked your face and you blushed. Jack cleared his throat.

"Ah, who is your friend?" He asked.

"That's not my friend. This is the infamous Jack Sparrow. Not worth the talk I've discovered." You nudged Jack.

"Yes but we're actually trying to find men to join are crew are you interested?" Jack asked.

"Oh I wouldn't bother with this so called "adventure." You said with air quotes as you glared at Jack.

"Underwhelming. To say the least." You looked back at Andrew.

"I am terribly sorry to turn down such an offer but my home is here, friend." Andrew smiled as he turned back to you. "But you must visit again sometime."

"Of course." You smiled back.

"Sorry to end this quick reunion but y/n and I came here for a very important purpose." Jack grabbed your arm.

"My best wishes. It was nice to see you, dear y/n" Andrew said as he walked off.

"Did someone get a little jealous?" You seethed at the pirate for cutting your conversation short.

"Okay." Jack rolled his eyes as he pulled you off to the side. "Are we ever going to talk about whatever we have?" Jack asked. You just looked away.

"If you could drop the pettiness and the attitude for just two seconds that would be amazing." Jack complained. "I'm trying to have an honest conversation."

"We can have an honest conversation when you get my brother back and you decide to start being honest yourself." You said as you kept looking away. This place brings out the worst in not only you but also Jack, seeing his many conquests.

"You know you aren't making this easy either!" He shot back. "Can't you just accept that I've absolutely no clue what I'm doing with a girl I actually have stirrings for while also trying to save me life?" Jack said exasperated. You finally sighed.
