*Billy's POV*
"God how much longer, Stan? I'm tired of driving!" I cried.
"Okay, okay hold your horses not much longer. My aunts house isn't that far I promise!"
"You said that 30 minutes ago dumbass."
"This time I mean it!" I scoffed at him. "Really!" After about 5 more minutes we finally parked in the driveway of Stan's aunts house. We were actually headed to college in LA but decided to visit Stan's aunt, and after the whole falsely-accused-of-murder incident we could not have been more excited to sleep in cozy beds and eat warm, home made food.*Y/N's POV*
"Mother their here!" I yelled.
"I'll be right out!" Mom yelled. I ran out the door and greeted them. "Stan! It's so good to see you, how are you!" I said giving him a hug.
"I'm great y/n, there's someone I'd like you to meet. This is my best friend, Billy Gambini." I looked over to see a young man standing behind him. He was sort of tall, had tan skin and nice, dark hair. He smiled at me.
"Hi Billy, I'm Stan's cousin, y/n," I shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you y/n"
"And I'm Stan's aunt Josie!" Mother barged in. She, too, shook his hand. "Oh Stan I can't wait to show you the wonderful meal I cooked you! After all the trouble you two have been through I couldn't resist-" mother's voice trailed off as they both rushed into the house.
"So how long have you known Stan?" I asked Billy.
"Since high school, he's sort of an idiot but he's always there y'know?"
"Trust me I've known him all my life." We both laughed.
"So tell me about yourself?" Billy asked.
"There's not much to know, I'm in my second year of college and I'm visiting for a few days. I also work at a laundry mat. Pretty boring."
"Better than mine, I just got out of jail time. Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Just got out of a relationship actually. He was such an asshole. Anyways, tell me about the murder case!"*Billy's POV*
That night for dinner the four of us decided to roast some hot dogs outside. It was a perfect night and we all enjoyed the blazing fire warming the cool air. We even had music playing!
I was in the middle of making my hot dog when I noticed there were only three of us.
"Hey where's y/n?" I asked. They shrugged. I set my food down and went inside to find her sniffling on the couch. "Y/n?" She looked at me and quickly wiped away her tears and snot.
"Billy! What are you doing here?"
"I came to check on you, why are you crying? It's a nice night let's have some fun here!" I smiled to cheer her up but she only looked at me with a pouty, red face.
"Guess I'm just not in the mood okay?" She crossed her arms and sat back down on the couch. I joined her.
"What's wrong?"
"It's the breakup. It happened pretty recently. Even though I hate him, I still miss him a lot. I miss having someone to go to." I gave her a sad look and gently stroked her back.
"I understand that. Trust me you'll be okay though. There's other men out there I promise." She didn't say anything back and I felt awkward just sitting there as she cried into her hands. I noticed a slow song play on the radio and I stood up and held out my hand. She looked up at me confused. "Would you like to dance?"
"Oh," she stuttered, "Billy that's nice but-"
"I just want to help you get your mind off things." She hesitantly took my hand and then wrapped her arms around my neck. I put my hand on her hips and we swayed to the music. I heard her sigh and felt her body relax.
"This is nice Billy," she whispered, "thank you."
