" uh don't know, probably just history stuff I guess," Brandon said and drank his coke," we'll look at this couple!," Devon said and sat down in the booth," I-" " we're not a couple," Za'Niyah said and Brandon nodded
" well okay, I feel like every one is coupled up. Eliot and that chick from swim team and Freddie and that girl from tennis," Devon said and slumped
" you mean savannah and Dai?" Brandon asked," yeah them," Devon said and waved her hand
Devon kept on talking while Brandon and Za'Niyah was whispering to each other
" wanna sit together in the plane?" Za'Niyah asked Brandon and went her hand in his puffy hair" yeah maybe, don't remember if I already asked the guys," Brandon said and smiled at Devon, but Devon rolled her eyes
Not because she doesn't like Brandon, but because she asked Quinn and she told her, and quote;" me?!" And after that Quinn ran away and they haven't talked since that day, even though she didn't technically reject Devon she sure felt like she did
" are you okay Devon?" Za'Niyah asked and shifted on Brandon's lap," oh me-" *pff* " totally! I'm just hungry, are we going to order?" She asked and looked at the menu
Za'Niyah felt like something was off, they have been going to this diner since the my were baby's they already know what's on the menu. And nothing new has been added for a while
"Ya sure?" Za'Niyah asked one more time, but Devon didn't answer," Von are you going to answer?" Za'Niyah asked," uh sorry I spaced out," Devon said and faked a smile
" uhm Brandon I'm going to pee, Devon wanna come with me?" Za'Niyah asked and Devon sighed," coming bestie," Devon said and stood up Za did the same and they walked to the bathroom
" what's up with you?" Za'Niyah asked Devon while she placed her hand on her shoulders, Devon sighed," I'm just tired, I haven't gotten sleep for like three days," Devon said and slightly smiled at Za'Niyah," girl I know how it is at home..." Za said and hugged Devon," yeah well it's better now, I loved in with dad and it's a lot better," Devon said and pulled back
Za'Niyah would've asked Devon to stay at her place but Brandon is still there, his parents-well dad is still mad at him.Za'Niyah still don't know why, she's been asking him but he just say ' it doesn't matter,' and then he kissed her and she would forget it
"Okay...that good wanna go back out?" Za'Niyah asked and Devon nodded, when they got back to the table Za'Niyah and Devon saw a bunch of people just sitting and talking to Brandon, they walked further and Saw that it was his friends and some other guys from the football team
" but when I say she has the BIGGEST-" one of the guys stopped talking when they were at the table," what's up Za'Niyah?" Jackson said and stood up, Za'Niyah fuzzed her eyebrows together," do I know you?" She asked folded her arms, there was a girl sitting next to Brandon, Za'Niyah touched the girl on her shoulder.the girl looked up and it was daisy
Za'Niyah rolled her eyes," can I get my seat back?" Za'Niyah asked and shifted her weight to the other foot," uh I did see you here? Brandon was sitting here all alone so the guys an I joined him," daisy said,daisy knew that Za'Niyah was there. Daisy hated Za'Niyah for making Brandon forget all about her, it was finally daisy's turn but of course another girl came before she could get her chance
