By Jove! Spring has come!
Joy's complexion burst in Spring's presence -
Blooming were blossoms, rich with pleasence.
Sunlight bubbled from icy skies no longer -
as the iris' sweet fragrance oh so lingered
upon our snow drenched meadow,
where Life will freely flow-
as Death awaits with its scythe aglow,
Its daffodils bloomed on Spring's skin of lush,
whilst the tempest lurked under Spring's bittersweet blush.
Birdsongs bloomed in the gardens of gaiety-
whilst the chaos lurked under Spring's serenity.
