You have engulfed upon me an endless pain,
coursing through me the tides of unrelenting sorrow.
Still, there buried within me little joy that shall keep me sane,
yet none shall prevail upon me to seek the light of the morrow-
for I know that I shall descend
down the hills and hedges the morrow forever,
unmoving.
