Mistakes I Made

Chapter 1

This is the story about five best friends and how all the mistakes made during this night of fun ended in such an awful way. This story is from Luna's point of view.
Hi, my name is Luna Davis and I am 19 years old. I am writing this story with the hope that people will learn from my mistakes. Now that my introduction is over, let's go back five years ago halfway through my 9th grade year.
I typically like to keep my friend group small with the people I trust the most. That is why you will usually only see me with four special girls Taylor, Abigail aka Abby, Celeste, and Alex. We have all been friends since 6th grade. I have been friends with Taylor for as long as I can remember she is like the sister I never had. Taylor was the one who introduced me to Abby and Abby introduced both Taylor and I to Alex and Celeste. We all hit it off from the moment we started talking to each other and I am so grateful to have these girls in my life. Each of us have a different personality like, Taylor is the social butterfly of the group, Abby is the tomboy/ edgy one of the group, Alex is the rich girl but she is nothing like those stereotypical rich girls, Celeste is the wild card you never know what you are going to get, and I am the Mother of the group I take it upon myself to make sure all my girls are okay.
Now that you know more about me and my amazing friends let's get into the point of me writing this. As I mentioned before we were all in 9th grade, and all I could think about was turning 15 and getting my learners permit. All of my friends had already turned 15 and got their permits, but luckily my birthday is in a few days and the day after I will go and take the test to get my permit.Fast forward a week later I passed the test and got my permit. Sadly, I spent more time studying for the end of grade finals than I did driving but I guess it is worth it if you pass the grade.
