Nathan was making more sloppy joe meat while Alex was in the living room. Playing with a blue ball of yarn by juggling it with his tail, he suddenly saw Timmy swoop in and dash away with his precious yarn ball. Alex had learned that in life the one thing you don't do is take a cats yarn. Timmy hurried into their room and Alex pursued viciously. He saw Timmy sitting on the bed with a black box in his other hand. "We got you something." Alex quelled the rage within him and reached out to take the box. Inside was.....nothing! "What the-" he gasped as he felt something wrap around his neck. He turned to see Nathan fastening the buckle at the back. Alex looked down to see a pet collar with a bell dead center.  Timmy saw a tear fall to the ground and looked up to see himself being hugged by the cat. "Thanks. This is really thoughtful of you." Nathan now was out of the room, leaving the two alone. The cat began to let out a small yawn and the brunette chuckled. Pulling the cat onto the bed, he began to speak up. "Hey Timmy?" "Yes?" "Would you mind petting me?" The clones heart skipped a beat. He'd always wondered what the boy's hair felt like. He replied"I-i'd be honored." He slowly placed his hand on the cat's head. He immediately felt cool hair. Noticing it felt softer than air. As he began to scratch, he'd devoloped a theory and scratched behind his furry ear. He was right. The next thing to follow was a purr from Alex and he simply loved it. It wasn't bad for the cat either. He hadn't been petted in years and forgot how it felt. He loved it. As Timmy finished petting Alex he noticed to cat scooted closer to him. He smiled warmly and laid down next to him. The cat followed by placing his head on the brunette's chest. They both felt as comfortable as possible and drifted off to sleep.
