Since Ryan took Alex in, things had never been more tense. It was sunrise on Japan and the cat was sitting on the roof ledge, wanting to feel the cool wind and calming horizons and let go of his past. But he couldn't. He'd been through too much to just forget about them. Them taking him in, the rescue, the collar. All these things they'd done in one month. He didn't wanna lose that. "Maybe I could turn myself in for Kyra's behalf. That way she won't need to go to jail. No. They would never go with that." He suddenly felt his tail brush up against a strong leg. He turned to see Ryan standing next to him in just a pair of shorts and some slippers. Alex blushed slightly while Ryan just smiled. "Hey, mind if I join you?" The cat simply turned his head back toward the ocean and gestured his tail to the spot next to him. Ryan sat, legs crossed. "You'll catch a cold with just shorts on. You should probably put on something a little warmer." Ryan looked at what the cat was wearing. Alex was adorned in black jeans, and a black t-shirt. He wore a light blue jacket over it and white shoes. Finally, Ryan noticed Alex's collar, especially the bell. "Something tells me you know why I came up here." "You wanna know about my past, don't you?" Ryan nodded, know looking serious. "I used to have it all. Friends, a family, a safe home with no worries. But that was before this happened to me." Alex grabbed his tail when he said this. "So you weren't born like that? Then how did you-" "The Hyper Moon. Kyra and I were playing outside her house late that night, losing all track of time. We were holding hands as I walked her home and that's when it happened. The blast of light that hit us ended up giving us half cat bodies. I was knocked away into the moonlight and given these ice powers but Kyra was rammed by the blast into the shadows leaving her with feline shapeshifting. We both immediately consulted our parents and long story short became abandoned. We stuck close until about a year ago when she said she got adopted. I was homeless until those two took me in. And now-" "You two are back together." The cat nodded looking back at the horizon. He eyes seemed to be analyzing the array of color patterns to portrayed the water. "Hey." The cat snapped out of his analyzing and focused on the other blue eyed boy. "I know this must be tough for you to swallow but....not everything can be solved with analyzes and statistics." The cat looked with confusion and innocence, making the blonde chuckle. He looked toward the ocean.
"Sometimes, you just have to trust fate. Sure you can't see it, or touch, it or even research it, but having faith can do so much in your life. Tell you what, start by having faith in us. Believe that we'll help you through this at any costs, from the sunrise to moonfall. Ok?" The cat let a small grin show and nodded. "Wait...moonfall? The Hyper Moon! It's tonight! We gotta get ready!" Ryan quickly grabbed the cat and they ran back into the house.
. . .
"So you think you can really find them?"Late that night, Timmy and Nathan were in the city using the wolf's Signature Scent ability to track the white haired cat. They were having a bit of trouble because of the crowded area. "C'mon, this is me we're talking about. I won't let a few bystanders keep us away from kitten." He then grabbed Timmy by the wrist and dashed through the crowd, stopping once they reached a beach. He's close, really close. Let's head back and shelter from the Hyper Moon." The wolf breathed a stream of fire and the sand within a 5 meter radius turned to glass. "We'll come back tomorrow." They both then headed back home, determined to retrieve their kitten by any means.
