"Here we are. The cave we need to go through." Kyra led them their surpringly easily considering she'd never been on the Piety Mountain. Ryan put his hand on her shoulder and smiled. "Nice work." She blushed a little and kept walking, glancing at what she'd done to cat who was now on Timmy's back. As they came in they all noticed skeletons lining up the cave walls. "Eww. What happened?" Kyra questioned. Nathan nervously motioned her to look up at the dark ceiling. As she did so, she saw a giant pair of glowing red eyes staring evilly at her. I'll spare you the horrific scream that followed as the monster revealed itself. A giant 20 foot bat creature with fangs half as big swooped down and landed in front of the group of teens, eyeing the unconscious cat resting on the brunettes shoulders while hundreds of small bat minions circling them in a trap. Timmy quickly backed away and drew his dagger only to find Alex being lifted by a small group of the minions, revealing how light Alex was at this point. They flew him over to the boss bat's side and he licked his fangs, opening his mouth to bite the unconscious kitten. Ryan threw a huge ball of lighting right into the bat's face, leaving a burn mark right on the side of it's cheek. "Hold it bat breath!" The giant boss sent a disgusted glare at Ryan, not noticing Kyra getting her flowers ready. Since the cave cut off most of the sunlight, her growing ability took longer than expected. The bat decided that Alex couldn't go anywhere and now focused on it's opponents, flapping its wings vigorously and creating a strong gust against the 4."Woah!" Kyra being even lighter than Alex was launched right before she finished growing her feild, leaving the bulbs to be uprooted and instantly wither. Ryan ran and caught her with ease."Gotcha!" He put her down as Timmy and Nathan sent clone punches and magma blasts at the beast. It flew back a little now letting a super sonic shreek roar throughout the cave. The bat minions responded by attacking the two with small but fast, mulitiple strikes. Leaving the two badly beaten and sprawled on the floor, they continued circling the inside of the cave. Ryan and Kyra now had to try to make a combo attack for the first time. "Are you sure about this?" She questioned. "We'll be fine. Let's do this." He quickly stunned the boss bat and Kyra used her willpower to quickly grow a small field of flowers around them. Ryan glowed like a lightbulb as he created two whips of lightning in his hands while Kyra allowed the now freed petals to latch onto it. Ryan began to let the whips swivel through the air, using his cat-like agility, he let the multiple petals and lighting defeat the many bats minions while the boss still struggled to move. Kyra took the petals from the whips away to form a pink rifle. As she took aim, Ryan charged it. She pulled the trigger and a pink bullet shaped energy blast with a spiraling shield of electric energy sped straight for the creature. Upon contact, the creature exploded into a black misty cloud. "We did it!" Kyra said, quickly remembering the other duo. She knelt down and quickly and put a hand on each chest, letting a green energy wash over them and heal them shortly. As they rose up, they thanked her and looked around for Alex. Thankfully, he'd been caught by the back of shirt on a stalagmite sticking out the side of the cavern. Ryan was asked to retrieve him since the other two were still a little sore. Ryan smiled once their way, but frowned a little once he saw the cat at a closer view. His corruption had grown another two inches, as if he could see the stressful moments he'd just been through unconsciously. "Let's take a quick break. We need to talk about some more strategies." Ryan suggested. Timmy and Nathan exchanged a look as if asking each if they should listen and turned back to him nodding. They all sat on the ground as Ryan told them of their combo. "So, what kind of combo can you two create?" "An exploding clone barrage attack." "Woah." Timmy sent a proud look Ryan's way. "I know. Let's you and me train for a sec, we might come up with a combination after we see how we both fight." Ryan shot a surprised but slightly excited look back at the brunette. "Ok! Er, uh I mean, sure why not." He said. They headed a little further down the cave, leaving Kyra and Nathan alone with Alex resting in his lap. She only stole glances at him since she was the cause for all of this. A cold gust blew in and she shivered, suggesting a fire. She grew a small tree and used the leaves to slice it like a chainsaw. Nathan ingnited the pile if wood before him and saw Kyra huddled in the corner. "Hey, come on over here or you'll catch cold." She did as he said now sitting in his lap along with Alex, snuggling closer when she felt a warm temperature from the wolf's chest. "I have what you would call a magma core. It enables me heat constantly. But enough about that. We need to talk about Alex. We're still not sure what he'll do once we revive him. If he still won't come home with you and Ryan, and won't come back with Me and Timmy, where will he go?" Kyra looked at the gems in her hands. "Im not sure. But whatever he does, we have to respect it and not interfere. Even if it means we won't see him again."
