Alex was storming off in silent fury and saddened pain. Every step he took reminded him of a bad memory. The kiss between Kyra and Ryan. Step. The fight at Nathan's house. Step. Getting kidnapped by Zyrex. Step....being abandoned. He dropped to his hands and knees and cried. Letting the tears fall onto the soft sand. "Why?! No matter what I try, I end up alone. No one for me to trust. Having faith in others...is for fools! Ow!" He felt a sharp pain in his chest and instinctively lifted his tail. A red sound wave pulsed from it as it seared through the city. Apparently no one but Ryan and Nathan heard it, grabbing their partners and heading toward the signal. All 4 made it to the location Alex was. His tail was down since it stopped the signal and he was unconscious. Nathan looked toward Ryan who looked back with concerned. "He's given in to corruption, leaving him in this unconscious state. If we don't purify him soon, he'll be....." Nathan couldn't bring himself to finish and all 3 of them looked back in fear. Ryan then somehow gained full self control again. "What do we do?" "We need to take him to the Piety Springs. A hidden meadow with a spring that's imbued with the holiest of light purification magic. Once there we simply let the spring do its job. But, there are a few problems." He still had their attention. "We've only got a week and he'll be tormented with nightmares until he wakes up or it's too late. To top it, if we don't make in time, he'll release all the evil within him to create a nearly unstoppable warrior of darkness. A being who is opposite of the host in everyway." Timmy walked over to Ryan and Kyra "You help us save Alex, and we'll drop your charges and let him stay with you." Kyra looked to Ryan who nodded yes and extended his hand to the brunette. "For Alex." Timmy shook it. "For Alex." They soon returned to Nathan's house after Ryan and Kyra grabbed a few things. "We'll need plenty of supplies to make it to the Piety Springs...along with a small favor." The others suddenly found themselves in a fiery location near the base of a volcano. There was talking coming from a nearby cave and the three followed Nathan inside. A tall, muscular figure with black hair and wolf parts was on the phone. He was at least 7 feet with pure red eyes was saying choice things to the other line and hung up. He turned to see the four and grabbed Nathan in a headlock, noogying his head. "Nathan! How's my favorite nephew?" "Not great Uncle Sateen. We got a small prob on our hands at the moment." He stepped to the side to show the unconscious cat on Ryan's back piggy back style. "You kids wanna use Peity Springs don't you? Well, your aunt Jibril does know a way there. I suppose I could send you there." "Thanks uncle!" Sateen eyes glowed as he teleported them to Nathan's aunt house. The entire place rested on a midair cloud that was somehow holding them up. Nathan went to knock on the door and Jibril came out, hugging her nephew. "Aww, little Nate came to see me? How sweet!" Ryan nearly dropped Alex laughing along with Timmy. Nathan shot them a dirty look and they got quiet. "We need a favor Aunt Jibril, my friend here needs to get to the Piety Springs asap. Would you mind lending us something to help us get there?" She went back inside and came back with a rolled up map. "Here you are. Be safe sweetie." "Thanks Auntie." She closed the door. "Now, let's save Alex!" They were teleported by Nathan and began to head toward the Piety Springs. "According to the map, the first obstacle is- WOAH!" Timmy was pulled back by Nathan and looked down to see a giant chasm. "How can we get across, it's crazy far for any of us to travel with the others." Kyra said kicking a rock into the pit. Ryan then stepped up and spoke with Alex still on his back. "Then we all take our own paths. Meet up at the end of the canyon, got it?" Everyone nodded as Ryan created a cloud big enough for him and Alex, floating across. Kyra grew a field of roses and created small platforms beneath her feet for each step, using the petals. Nathan simply teleported while Timmy used his clones to throw him halfway, from there he used clones to push himself off of to reach the other side. "Good work everyone...huh?" Ryan turned his head to see Alex's base of his tail turn red. He cringed in pain unconsciously and Ryan sat down, hugging the other cat to calm him down. "Sssh, its ok. I got you buddy. Everything is alright." Alex calmed down and smiled still asleep and the other 4 smiled warmly at the cat and decided to set up camp. Kyra was growing berry trees and Nathan was setting up tents and guarding Alex while Ryan and Timmy went to grab some water. Timmy spoke when they left. "Hey...Ryan." the cat turned to look toward the brunette. "I know that Alex doesn't want us anymore, but why was he corrupted?" Ryan looked at the ground, not saying a thing. Timmy asked again and Ryan still was quiet. The brunette grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed against a tree. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY KITTEN?!" Ryan let a tear roll down his face and Timmy felt bad, letting him go. "Kyra......kissed me." "WHAT!" "Yes, but I didn't kiss back. She just made a mistake and that tipped the poor cat off the edge." Timmy took the cat by surprise when he hugged him. Ryan gave in and hugged back, letting all of his emotions out. "I just want him to be happy!" "Yeah I know, its hard to watch the cat you love like a brother leave you cold hearted." They let go and Ryan wiped the tears from his eyes. "C'mon, let's get the water for camp. Oh and Timothy? Could we not mention this?" "Mention what?" Both smiled, now having a new but thin layer of friendship in tact.

Kyra was just finishing picking the fruits from her trees when Nathan walked over to her. "Kyra, I need you to explain why my precious kitten was corrupted." "Well...it was late one night and I wasn't thinking. I-i kissed Ryan and he found out." Nathan growled a little but calmed down. "Why? I thought you liked Alex." "I do, and I have no idea why any of this happened. Listen, I wanna put this whole scene behind me. The only thing I'm worried about is Alex's safety." Nathan put his hand on her shoulders. "I understand. Let's do our best together for Alex." She smiled. "Think you help me cook these?" " No problem."
