wordlessly, dream placed an arm under my shoulders to support me as he took a step forward. i followed, leaning into him heavily so i wouldn't fall. somehow, i still managed to stumble as we walked out of the room, but dream's other armed snaked around my waist to hold me steady. i glared at him, hoping he would take his hands off me without me having to say anything.

dream raised his eyebrows at my look. "fine, you can walk yourself, if you want," he said as he moved his hands away.

i was able to stand for a moment, and even took a few steps forward before toppling over. dream looked at me on the floor and burst into a loud wheeze. he stood there laughing for a very very very long minute as i glared at him as hard as i could.

"idiot," he said as he finally stopped laughing. he reached his hand out and i had no choice but to grab hit as he pulled me up. the force of him doing that was too much for my legs to handle, and before i could balance myself i fell right into his chest. lovely.

stepping back slightly, i allowed dream to put his arm back around my shoulders. he continued laughing at me, but walked forward.

"where are we going?" i asked, hoping to get him to stop laughing. it was annoying as hell.

"somewhere," he responded. it wasn't really an answer, but at least he wasn't mocking me anymore. for a moment, i stopped in my tracks and looked around. i could probably try to escape right now, as dream didn't have any armor or weapons.

"don't try anything," he warned, almost as though he read my mind.

"i can't even take three fucking steps, what makes you think i'll try to run?" i snapped back, hoping to make it seem like i wasn't considering it.

dream just rolled his eyes in response. a few moments later, he led me into a large room with a high ceiling. it had a long table in the middle, with four chairs on each of the longer sides and one chair at the head of the table. there was a large chandelier in the middle, and intricate wall paper

he walked me to one of the chairs at the head of the table, and let go of me as i all but collapsed into the chair.

he walked to the other side and sat directly across from me. "the others will join us fairly soon for breakfast. until then, i think it's time we have a chat," he said. oh god. i had a feeling this wasn't going to go very well.

and my suspicions were confirmed as he continued speaking.

"first, let's talk about your little escape plot from a week ago."
