I wake up and go through my morning regiment of stretching then showering. I look out of my window at the yard below. *Ding* Picking up my phone I see a well know contact.
Stephanie 🖤: Breakfast is ready Jones
Me: Thanks ma'am
I walk downstairs and into the dining room sitting across from Hunter.
Hunter: Ready for your debut kid?
Me: Yes sir any plans for how I should do it?
Hunter: Roderick strong is issuing a open challenge my music will play and I will say challenge accepted. That's when you will make your entrance and win with me in your corner.
Me: Sounds good sir.
Stephanie: Here's your plates
Hunter nods and she frowns a bit.
I should say something
Me: Thank you ma'am it looks delicious.
The frown disapeers and she sits next to Hunter.
Hunter: Don't forget kid there's a gym in the basement you should use it to make sure you don't get sloppy.
Me: Yes sir I'll go immediately after a finish here.
Hunter: Ok and I'm about to head to the arena make sure everything is in check see you tonight.
Me: Yes sir
He wipes his mouth with a napkin and stands up leaving the room.
Stephanie: Thank you for complimenting my cooking it doesn't happen as often anymore.
Me: You're welcome ever thought about becoming a chef?
Stephanie: Once or twice but those days are behind me.
I nod and continue eating the grits and scrambled eggs. Shortly after I finish and stand to wash my plate.
Stephanie: I got it, go to the gym and prepare for tonight.
Me: Yes ma'am.
I walk to my room and change into my workout uniform which consisted of adidas short and shoes with no shirt and ankle and and arm weights. Wonder how the gym looks. I jogg down the stairs and enter the basement seeing a 30 by 30 gym with heavy bags, bikes, treadmills hell even a pool. Wow this place is nice. I close the door behind me and walk to the heavy bags.
10 minutes later
I hear the door open but decided to ignore it and focus on my workout.
Stephanie: Jones
I stop hitting it and turn around seeing Stephanie wearing a tight fitting shirt and shorts.
Me: Ma'am sorry for the unprofessionalism I'll put on a shirt.
Stephanie: No stay like that.
Me: Are you sure?
Stephanie: You should know, I don't like repeating myself Jones.
Me: Yes ma'am.
She walks over to the treadmill and start it up while I go back to the bag.
Two hours later
I sit on the floor leaning against the wall of the gym covered in sweat and catching my breath.
Stephanie: Tired Jones?
I look up at her seeing a smirk
Me: No ma'am
Stephanie: You can lie all you want, but take this.
She drops a cold Gatorade onto my chest and I pick it up downing the entire thing in 10 seconds. I wipe my mouth and place it next to me.
Me: Thank you
Stephanie: You're welcome maybe next you can be my workout partner.
Me: If it's a command then yes.
Stephanie: You know it is Jones now go rest before your debut
Me: Yes ma'am
NXT
I sit across from Hunter in his office at the arena and he turns on the mini Tv on the wall.
Hunter: Roderick should be out there soon along with the rest of his team,the UE but with me in your corner they most likely won't try anything but remember trust no one.
Me: Yes sir.
Hunter: Good now let's head to gorilla.
We leave the office and walk around the arena until we reach the stage curtain. A group of four men pass us and nods at Hunter walking through the curtain.
Ring POV
The era make their entrance and Roderick Strong stands in the center of the ring.
Roderick Strong: I am the most dominant NXT North American champion and I will remain champion and if anyone back there thinks otherwise come out here and let me prove it.
He drops the mic and stares towards the ramp.
HHH steps onto the ramp and lock eyes with Strong
Mauro: Mami miya the COO
Nigel: This can't be
Midas steps on stage and shake hands with HHH
Nigel: The former NWPW United States champion is here!
Midas and HHH walk down to the ring. HHH stops at the ring and Midas climbs onto the apron entering the ring. Midas and Roderick have a stare down in the ring and look at the crowd.
Crowd: Midas! Midas! Midas!
HHH: Ring the fuckin bell.
The bell is rung and Midas takes down Roderick with a clothesline.
15 minutes later
Mauro: Pedigree!
Midas goes for the pin
Ref: 1...2.-
The UE drags Midas out of the ring and starts getting assaulted by the UE. The ref calls for the bell and Roderick joins in on the assault on Midas. HHH runs over to the group and they retreat through the stands.
HHH helps Midas up and the two walk up the ramp behind the curtain.
Chace POV
We reach gorilla and Hunter pats me on the back.
Hunter: Good job kid and since when did you start using my move?
Me: Game 2.0 is a expert inmimicracy.
Hunter: Good you wanna hang out here or head to the house?
Ms: Whatever you decide sir
Hunter: Ok then were heading home.
We take our stuff from his office and board the helicopter. I check my phone and see a text from Stephanie.
Making sure Hunter couldn't see my screen I opened the text.
Stephanie 🖤: I saw your match, you did good you'll be winning that title in no time.
Me: Thanks
I put my phone away and start resting my eyes
