Part 2

Ellies POV:

I was walking home when a police vehicle went right past me, it was heading right toward my house so I chased after it. 

"HEY" I yelled as they got out of the car, 

"are you ms. swarms?" he asked and I nodded, him and the other officer exchanged a look 

"yes, and?" I said getting impatient. 

"well we have some unfortunate news about your mom.." 

"lemme guess she got into a car crash?" I said rolling my eyes 

"yeah, how'd you know?" they asked 

"she was under the influence of alcohol right?" they nodded 

"did she make it?" I asked getting worried a little and they shook their heads. just then everything was ruined, I was never close with my mom but we did have those times where we'd get along. The officers offered to drive me to the hospital and I went with them, I didn't know what to feel or what to do. I decided to call the only person who knew about my home life.

Vinnies POV:

"so what do you think of her?" Sam asked me as I was sitting at the counter, 

"she's nice, but a tease and a flirt" I said smiling remembering how she said goodbye 

"you're blushing" she said laughing 

"no I'm not.." I said my cheeks all of a sudden getting hot. 

"anyways Vin, how you been?" she asked tilting her head to the side and I rolled my eyes.

"not my therapist" I said reminding her. 

"you got one?" she asked.

"uh I've been looking for one, but going in public and searching is hard when you have a bunch of high schoolers 'stalking' you" I said sighing.

"you ever wish you didn't become this big this early?" she asked obviously curious 

"I love my fans, I really do. Its just there's times when I wonder if it would've been different y'know?"

"yeah" she said looking off in the distance, 

"I'm gonna have a shower okay?" she said going upstairs as I nodded.

 I went and sat on the couch and decided to go on tiktok right when I heard Sams phone ring. I got up and checked it to see that it was Ellie and I smiled, 

"Oh my g-d, Sammy thank you for answer-" 

"Its Vinnie.." I said cutting her off 

"oh, uhm is Sammy there?" she asked 

"uh no she went to have a shower, can I help you with anything though?" I asked, 

"well I'm on my way to the hospital and I was hoping Sammy would come and pick me up" 

"why? is everything okay?" 

"uh no, my mom got into a car accident and I don't know who else to call. My family life is clearly a mess and Sams the only one who knows about it all" she said holding back tears 

"look I still have the car I rented to come here, so I'll come pick you up, okay?" I asked trying to sound reassuring 

"yeah okay" she said sighing. I hung up and wrote a note for Sam and put Ellies number in my phone, I got in the car and tried to track her down.

Ellies POV:

I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for Vinnie to show up. soon enough he barged through the doors and saw me and gave me a hug, I flinched at first and was pretty sure he noticed. 

"It'll be okay" he said pulling away and patting my shoulder. 

"do they know where she was going?" he asked and I nodded.

"where?"
