Part 13

Ellies POV:

I walked into the house after going birthday shopping and hanging out with Nai, she had to go home and get ready for something. Vinnie and I have run into each other a couple times at the house but just wouldn't talk, I wasn't sure if he told the rest of the house but I hadn't.

"happy birthday" everyone yelled and I sighed. I should've just told them, I would feel so much better. I had my bags packed upstairs ready to go with my plane ticket in my pocket, I had to leave at 11 to get to the airport so I decided to have some fun until then. I went around and hugged everyone saying thank you but I couldn't find Vinnie anywhere, not like I cared though..

"hey!" Nai said coming up to me.

"can't believe you could keep this secret!" I yelled over the music and she rolled her eyes.

"what do you meannn, I can keep any secret!" she told me and I laughed before I saw Jordan in the corner of my eye.

"I'll be back okay?" I said before walking toward him. "hey" I said to him before Maddy ran up to us smiling. 

"can I have permission to drag him away?" she asked and I nodded while smiling. just as I was gonna turn around I bumped into Vinnie,

"hey uh, happy birthday" he said as I waved at him.

"thanks for all this" I said extending my arms and he nodded.

"it was nothing, I'm glad you decided to trust your best friends brother" he said putting his hands in his pockets.

"it was a cool experience" I said sighing while looking at the ground. "hey what time is it?" I asked, it couldn't be 11 already. it just started.

"11" he said and I sighed.

"look vin, I really loved what you did for me. this oppurtunity really changed me like you said but I have to go" I said hugging him and running upstairs, I went out the back where no one was and hopped in the uber.
