I just want to say that I'm sorry if not everything in this chapter is correct I haven't watched the movies in a bit so I forget certain part, but anyways I promise I will make sure to get the important parts correct!!

Amaras POV Opening my eyes the next morning wasnt to difficult, considering it was a bright and sunny day lighting up the room. I reached over to spoon Newt when I realized he wasn't there. I felt my heart sink but it was okay it's not the end of the world. As I slowly got up and started making the bed a figure open the door. Turning my head I see a blonde boy, hair wet, and only covered merely by a towel. I stared. Way to long.
"Like what you see huh love?" The cocky blonde smirks at me as he begans taking off the towel but not before I have the chance to turn around. After a couple seconds I feel arms engulf me into a hug as I turn and notice he had out on sweats and a tank top. It was a nice shirt, showed his biceps which I hadn't noticed how fit he had been before. "What's up with you and staring today?" He chuckles as he hurry's to finish the bed. "Cmon love. Today's the day." "What? What day?" "Soon you won't be the greenie anymore." He smiles at me as he makes his way over to me to peck my cheek before guiding me outside. The glade was extremely warm today so I thanked myself for wearing a forest green tank top and some shorts. I wasn't super hungry today and decided to just take an apple and some water for breakfast. As Newt, Winston, Minho and Chuck all gathered around the table to have their breakfast as I walked along the forest edge. I never realized how gorgeous the scenery was, tall pine (guys idk if they r line but jsut act like they r lol) trees, dark green leaves attached to the brown branches crawling up many feet above the ground. The dirty ground somehow managed to look clean in a way. Of course there was twigs and leaves, but all were brushed to the side to create a path throughout the forest. As I continued walking father into the forests I stumbled upon the graves of the first people reading the names. I don't know why but one stuck out to me, "George". I kept walking away from the graves heading no where in general. In the distance I heard the blood curtiling screams of one of the gladers, Ben. Ben was a runner I was told, apparently not that long ago one of those..things stung him. He hasn't been the same since. I don't know Ben but I know that that thing isn't Ben. I was disappointed once Alby and Newt both agreed I shouldn't be in the medjacks for now for my safety. Well atleast until Ben is doing well. I head back to the glade admiring the beautiful bright blue sky.
"There you are! Newts been worried. Thought you fell of a cliff or something." Minho chucked as he rushed over to me. "I wasn't gone for long..right?" "About an hour." I gasped not realizing that I'd been out that long. "Better find Newt before he has a heart attack."
As I was making my way to find Newt a loud siren echoed through the glade. The rest of my peers sprinted towards the box and I did the same. I'm assuming this is the new greenie? Once I reach the box Newt has grabbed a rope and hoisted the boy up. Immediately he takes no times in getting up and sprinting in no general direction. It was extremely impressive until well he..face planted. All the gladers are laughing as he falls on his face. Alby, Newt, Minho and gally chased after the boy and through him into the slammer. I didn't really understand why but I guess it was for the best. As Alby goes over to tlak to the greenie Newt limps his way over to me.
"Hey I was looking for you earlier.. I wanted to spend some time with you because I'm gonn a be busy today with the greenie. Oh and congrats Amara your not the greenie anymore."
"Newt I'm sorry I was talking a walk through the woods, but don't worry we will have plenty of time to hangout at the bonfire. Besides I practically live in your room now." I wink at him before we walk hand in hand towards Alby who called Newt.
"Alby!" "Haha, greenbean meet Newt! When I'm not around HES in charge." "Well it's a good thing your always around then. Listen that was some dash you had there" "You know for a second I thought you had the chops to be a runner..until you face planted." We all chuckled silently as Thomas questions the runner statement. "Hey do me a favor..go get Chuck." Newt nods as he grips my hand and starts walking away but not before I say "I'm Amara, and I am pleased that you are now the greenie." I laugh as newt and I stroll along in search for Chuck.
"I forgot to mention this earlier but wow your hair is beautiful today. I've never seen wavy." I chuckle and thank newt. Good thing I wore braids to bed last night. "Aren't you supposed to be showing the greenie around? I mean you did it for me." "Not this time. Alby will do some and Chuck will help." "Oh alright. So we can spend time after we find Chuck??" "Of course love."
Around 15 minutes later we finally stumble upon Chuck who was carving another wood statue. "Woah Chuck that's some talent you got there!" Newt exclaimed while I took a glance at the wood. "What's are you making..it looks awfully familiar" "I am making you and Newt! I mean you to are dating of course." That's why it looked familiar. It was of the night we were dancing in the rain. My hands around his neck while his rested on my waist.
"Thank you Chuck that's is..just gorgeous." "I agree. And listen kid Alby wants you. I think it's something with the greenie. Good luck." Newt winks as the younger boy makes his way towards the middle of the glade. I pick up the statue he had left for us and admire it.

"He's an incredibly talented kid..I wish he got a better job then what he has." Newt says as I agree. "Well..let's go to the woods now love." "Okay. Bet I'll get there first!" I laugh as I sprint off into the woods Newt trailing close by as I was about to make it towards A big oak tree something grabs me and pulls me into their chest. "No fair you cheated!" I saw as newt let's go of me and touches the tree. He doesn't say anything but just makes his way over to me and pecks me on the lips. "Oops."
Guess who's back! Sooooo I have to rewatch the movies lmao so I get every thing right btw. Kk bye babes -V
