chapter 1

𝘈𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘴 𝘗𝘖𝘝
"It's a girl."
"Is she hot?"
"DIBS!"
"You can't call dibs on a girl!"
All of a sudden a tall dirty blonde boy hops down and reaches his hand down too you. He noticed your nerves and quickly pulled away.
"Tell her too hurry up!" I heard a deep voice yell. "Shut up you slinthead." I heard the dirty blonde say, noticing his English accent along the way.
"Come on let me help you up."
As he said that I took notice of his features and I have to admit he's extremely attractive. He has a square jaw, chocolate eyes, dirty blonde hair that resembles sand and he's on the taller side around 5'9. He's slimmer then the others but not in a bad way. Suddenly a rope gets thrown down and all eyes are on me. Quickly I get into the rope as I'm hoisted up into the air.
"Hey greenie." A tall dark haired boy says to me. I take notice of his eyebrows as they slant upwards (sry gally :/). All around me are many many pairs of eyes glancing at me. Looking past them I notice we are enclosurd by a tall dark wall. The land is quite big and has tents and huts along with woods.
"Greenbean come with me." I feel a hand grip my shoulder as I turn around noticing a darker toned man looking to be aroun 17 or 18. "I'm Alby, the leader here. I'll show you around."
𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨
"But why are we here? And why is there a wall? Why can't I remember anything-"
"Calm down greenbean it will all come back to you soon..we'll your name will it's the only thing they let us keep."
"Who's they?"
"I can't tell you that as of now. Come along and Newt will explain to you all of the jobs."
I look behind me noticing the British boy limping towards us, I didn't notice the limp before and take note too ask him about it later.
"Hey greenie, Alby."
"I'll leave you too alone I need to do some stuff aroun-GALLY STOP THAT!"
I chuckle silently as the leader runs towards the ma with the eyebrows scowling him.
"Alright my job here is to show you all of the jobs so let's get going." (𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙞 𝙖𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙧!!)
"Now to start off Alby is the First-in-Command as you will, he was the the first glider to ever arrive here and will stay in his position till death." " I myself, am second-in-command." "Wonder who decided it would be a good idea to give you that." I said attempting to make conversation. He chucked shaking his head slightly.
"Hey greenie in second in command you have to respect me." He smirks at you. "Moving on first we have the builders, they well build. Gally is the keeper of the builders. And keep in mind they aren't the brightest." Newt winks as he points at two builders fighting over a hammer. " Next up we have the cook..Frypan is the keeper all because he is the only cook here." "Is he good?" "Somewhat." "HEY I HEARD THAT!" Someone yells whom I assume is frypan. We both chuckle as we head towards a new building. "This here is our Med-jacks! They take care of anyone injured, Clint is the keeper of the med-jacks alongside with the other jack, Jeff."
"Now we have where I work.. the track-hoes."
Newt says as we all towards a garden. "Believe it or not I am not the keeper of this..Zart is." "Oh trust me I believe it." We both laugh looking at eachother and I didn't realize how close we were until Newt steps back, slightly blushing.
"Uh-oh yeah um next up we have runners. They go in the maze in search of a way out and clues for escaping. Minho is the keeper of the runners."
As we finally finished with the tour we sat down in the grass admiring the beautiful blue sky. "If you could pick your job what would it be?" I asked newt. "Well when I first got here I became a runner then after an injury I decided it was best to stay as a track-hoe." I didn't keep questioning him as he seemed uncomfortable.
𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙥
It was around an hour later when Newt stood up all of a sudden "Cmon greenie we have too wait for Minho." "Why does everyone call me greenie?" "Well what's your name?" "Oh well I don't know." Suddenly realizing how stupid your question was I felt my face heat up. "AAGH!" I fell on my back covering my ears as a loud screeching noise surrounds the area. Newt quickly helps me up, his face full of worry has he continues holding me, his hands groping my waist. I look up as a tall muscular Asian and a few others enter through the now opened maze. The Asian who I assume is Minho gives a no to Newt as he hurries to the room Alby told me was the map room. Before he ran away he did notice Newts grip on me and smirked at newt "Nice girlfriend newt!" Newt let go of me as we soon went our separate ways.
I enter my room (𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙘𝙨.) Alby said I could take the room at the end of the hall considering I was the only girl here and I needed my privacy. Luckily no one was in the room as I glanced around it. It was plain just a bed and some drawers but it was nice enough.
*knock* I turn to see Alby at the door "Hey greenie..dinner." He shut the door and I feel the hunger rising inside of me. I need to make a mental note to try and remember my name.. I hate this greenie thing.
