It was around 9:50 am when all the keepers gathered to decide Amaras job. Normally all gladers would have to be awake but today we let them sleep in so we could discuss this in private. "She's not going to be a builder that's for sure." Gally was the first to talk. A few chuckled and Winston added that she seemed to come ill once she entered the butcher shack. "She wasn't to found of being a runner. She ran out of breath pretty fast so it's safe to say either Teach hoe, cook, or medjacl."
"I don't need a lot of help in the kitchen..so it's up too Zart and Clint." "She definitely helped a lot with us while we were taking care of Zach (I made Zach up) and there's only two of us and a lot of track hoes..." he trails off and I look over to see Zart nodding. "I agree. Clint and Jeff need more help then I do." I felt my heart sink a bit but I don't know why, it was fun working with her not gonna lie. "So it's settled she's a medjack." Alby declares as we all nod and walk away from the hut. As I'm walking to my room I decide to wake Mar up. I knock on her door until I here her say to come in. "We found out what job your gonna get." I smile as I walk into her room. She quickly jumps up, her face filled with curiosity.
"Tell me tell me tell me tell meeeee!" I laugh at her begging and decide to tell her.
Amaras POV "Go meet Clint and Jeff in the med room after breakfest." I practically scream from excitement as I got the job I had wanted. "Omg yesss!" I say and walk up towards my drawer. I take off my top planning my outfit. I here someone clear there throat as I remember newt is in the room. I see his blush before I laugh telling him to find a table for us. I get dressed into this outfit.

As I look in the mirror I make a mental note to ask the creators for better clothes. I make my way to Frypan as he nods and fills my bowl up with cereal and an apple. I feel eyes on me as I turn and make eye contact with newt. He smiles and waves, gesturing me to sit by him. As I make my way to his table, Clint and Jeff call me over. I give an appologetic look to Newt as I make my ways towards them. "Hey guys.!" " hey greenie! So excited to be working with us??" "Why wouldn't I be, I mean I'm stuck in the same building with you two all day long." I make my sarcasm clear as we all giggle. "So greenie today's easy your just gonna clean up the rooms a bit for us." I nod and finish my meal before heading towards the med hut. I began cleaning the room. An hour later. I heard talking in the next room and some yelling. I began to become worried so I rushed over. I open the door to reveal Clint and Jeff kissing. They pull away as they here me entered and I apologize quickly. "I'm so so sorry I heard yelling- but congrats omg!" "It's fine greenie. Just don't tell anyone yet okay." Thwy both smiled at me as I nodded and exited the room. I went back to the med room and was surprised when I saw a figure in there. I soon realized it was newt and cleared my throat causing him to look up. "Oh uh I need help with this." He said as he gestures to his arm whom was know filled with cuts and scratches. I gasp as I quickly search for medicine and bandaids. "Omg Newt what happened are you okay?" Inrush over to him getting my supplies ready. "I'm fine Mar..the builders didn't build a strict to well." He chucked as we make eye contact. " this is gonna hurt a bit." I poor the alhcol on his cuts as his hand finds my arm squeeze ig it tightly as his eyes scrunch up in pain. I wrap the bandages around him and he lets go.
"Thanks and sorry about that." "Your fine Newt." We make eye contact once again as he began ti talk. "Mar I uh." He stood talking and just looks at me. "Hey lovebirds, Alby needs Newt." We turn to see Minho leaning against the door while smirking at us. Newt and I spread apart as Minho walks in. "You don't like him huh?" "Minho we've only known eachother for a week I can't like him." (A/n ik it hasn't been a week but act like it has) "Well greenie, looks to me that both of you catch feelings fast." He leaves me standing there surrounding in my own thoughts. I mean he's very attractive but do I like him? I can't possibly we don't even k one eachother! I lay down in one of the beds and just think.
"Amara! I've been looking for you. Cmon dinners almost finished!" I open my eyes to see Chuck leaning over me. "It's Frypans special, chicken and pasta cmon!" I quickly get out of bed as the hunger wins over the tirdness. "We'll look who decided to show up." Frypan smirks as he loads my plate with food. I turn quickly and find a spot next to Newt and I take note that he was sitting alone. "Hey." He doesn't look up but instead gestures as he continues to eat. "How's your arm?" He grunts. And yet still doesn't look up. "So what did Alby need you for?" He responds sharply "it doesn't concern you greenie." I notice his tone of voice as he seems confused yet frustrated, like something was bugging him. I became embarrassed and got out of my seat, returning the tray to Frypan as I head towards the med hut to clean up the supplies. When I finish I leave to go to a walk in the woods. I decide now would be a good time to began writing what I need to the creators. I jot down clothes, tampons, bras, and some skin care as I notice my fave vegans to break out. I look up towards the sky realizing how late it is as I head to my room. Along the way I run into someone. "I am so sorry I wasn't-oh." I notice it was Newt and continued walking not caring to apologize. "Rude." I hear him say under his breath as I enter my room. Quickly I shut the lights and go to bed. Newts POV After Alby was finished talking to me I began to think. I realized that my thoughts always revolves around her. I don't know why but my thoughts were eternal about her. I don't know if I was catching feelings or what but I knew it wasn't good so I decided to try my best to ignore her. Dinner came around and I noticed she wasn't here. perfect. It was towards the end and I still had plenty of my meal left. I look up and see greenie making her way towards me. She asks a few questions until I snap at her. She gets up quickly and returns her tray. I instantly feel terrible. I also keep note that she didn't even touch her food. As I am overwhelmed with thoughts I take a walk. Time skip to bedtime lol
My arms throbs as I feel a figure run into it. I look up hearing their soft apology quickly stop as the face looks at me in suprise. Quickly she runs towards her door as I muttered soenthing under my breath that I shouldnt have. I don't know how long I can keep this bitchy attitude up for.
