I shut my eyes as I met the ground. Pain shot up my whole body – the worse coming from my leg. I gasped, my lung desperately breathing in the night air. I tried to get over the shock that I could have hit a rock and died. I began to pull myself up from the ground, hissing as my body ached from the action. I yelped in pain as I put pressure on my right leg. I knew nothing was broken thankfully – or at least I could tell.

I looked in the direction Taffy had gone only to find nothing. There was no sight or sound of him. "Taffy!" I called out for him. I couldn't bear losing him. I followed in the direction I had seen him head towards, hoping to find him. I took my phone out of my pocket turning the flashlight on. The thick canopy made everything darker. I stumbled a few times as I tripped over a random rock or root. "Looks like I won't get a good night sleep." I grumbled as I continued to walk. I groaned as I noticed my battery was about to die. I decided to turn it off to save the rest.

Without the flashlight I was able to see another source of light up ahead. I grinned at the sight, making my way towards it. I trudged up the small incline grabbing a hold of a tree trunk to push myself forward. The pain in my leg began to throb in a dull ache. The events of this night were beginning to catch up to me. My body was tired and so was my head. I caught my breath as I came to the top only to choke on air.

"Holy Mother of Dylan O'Brien..." I gasped.

There a couple of yards away was not a meteor. Surround by the upturned dirt and broken trees was a huge piece of.... I honestly don't know. My brain tried to comprehend the sight it was witnessing, but it couldn't – I couldn't. Whatever it was, it had taken on a lot of damage. There were different parts of the larger one scattered around the area. As I studied the larger piece closely, I realized it began to resemble a boat in a way. More like a yacht that came from the future if anything. It honestly looks like... "A spaceship..." I said aloud as my brain finally decided on what it was. I felt like my eyes were about to pop out of their sockets.

"Holy ship! It's a spaceship!" I exclaimed. I couldn't believe it, but it was the only thing that made sense. I'm pretty sure I know what a satellite looks like and that is not one. I went to take a step closer only to feel the ground vanish beneath my feet. Gravity sent me tumbling down the ground. I landed at the bottom of the slope. "Shit!" I cursed as the pain in my leg throbbed worse this time. The landing was obviously not comfortable. "Man..." I muttered as I got to my feet. "I hope it's just bad bruising." I was glad that nothing was broken but I limped slightly.
