"WAIT WHAT?" I yell through the phone.

"Yeah. I heard he has a six pack and everything now!" Aaliyah says.

"No no no no no! This-this can't be happening" I pace around my room back and forth.

Vinnie Hacker. My ex-crush is coming back to school tomorrow. He supposedly had feelings for me too but we never made it official.

We've kissed at a party once, last year- well I kissed him.

And after that he left.

So I haven't heard of him ever since. I don't know if he hates me or not, and that's why I'm nervous...

"Do you still have feelings for him?"

"No- i-idk"

"Look don't worry y/n, he'll either forget what happened or he'll remember everything"

"And how does that help?"

"Sorry"

I sighed with thoughts roaming through my mind. Vinnie will most likely remember everything. I mean it was way more than just a kiss-

*knock*knock*

My head turns to the door "I'll catch you up later Aaliyah" I hanged up the phone and walked up the door, opening it. Cameron was there.

"What do you want?"

"Mom said I can go see phoebe"

"Okayyy?"

"And she told me you have to be there with me"

I groan and rolled my eyes. Phoebe is the neighbors daughter that is around Camerons age, 11. She's also his crush since they were born.

But I'm not gonna lie that phoebe is a brat.

"Seriously? Why am I always the babysitter?"

"Because you're the oldest?"

"Right-"

"Fine I'll go, what time?" I asked.

"Right now"

I rolled my eyes again before I went to go put on my sneakers.

Off topic sorta, but I'm wearing an oversized striped long sleeve with baggy blue jeans and pink high top converse. My hair is down as usual.

I walked outside with Cameron and he rushed up to the neighbors house to pick up phoebe.

"MOM CAMERON'S HERE IM GONNA GO" she yells.
