“Bring It Back”

Jun's POV

We were quiet the whole time. Walking down to their cabin, with Yongjun on my arms, sleeping. Sana was the one guiding my way, nervous I guess. She was fidgeting the whole time and I must say, she really change so much. Looking at her right now, she's more of a mature woman.

Incredibly different from the Sana that always gets drunk and end up crying because of a man she can't own. Her face became more different, or should I say, she became more beautiful. Gorgeous as she is, I'll never forget every memories with her.

The pretend-deal.

The embrace we both shared.

For how I fell for the trap I did not know was there in the very first place.

And for what happened that night. For how she left without any words.

We both stopped in a cabin, far from ours. Even far from the beach and the pool. She turned to face me, not to look at me. I guess she was trying to say something, then I remembered I am the one carrying her son. Instead of handing Yongjun to her, I insisted to bring him inside.

"No, I-I can carry him, Mr Wen."

Forcefully, she tried smiling. Hence, it was even clear that she can't put an act with me. What's the matter? Is she afraid of my presence?

I stifle a smirk, fighting the urge to scoff. Why? Did she even got afraid, leaving me without any words? Did she even thought that I'll get hurt? Or was I nothing to her?

"It's okay. Just open the door." My voice sounded so monotonous. A tone that I am not familiar with, myself. I mean, I'm not a cold, snobby guy. It's just that the situation between us is distinct.

She nodded slightly, before opening the door. She stood aside, ushering me to get in first. Tsk, she can't even lok at me in the eyes or even throw even just a sassy glance at me.

I step inside the cabin, it was smaller than mine. Probably, just a cabin for only one person. I wander my eyes around, before looking back at her. Slowly yet surely, I interlock my gaze with her. Fuck, that tantalizing eyes.

To get a grip of myself, I was the one to break the eye contact. I cleared my throat to vanish this awkwardness. I look at Yongjun, who's peacefully asleep on my arms, then back to her. Regaining my sanity.

"Uh, right! I-I'll take him to our r-room. Right!"

She said with an upright tone. I handed her Yongjun carefully, trying not to awake the little guy or it would insist me to swim again.

What was she nervous of? Is it because of my presence? But I thought, I was nothing to her, that's why she left without any fucking considerations. That's the thing here, isn't it? And oh, where could be his husband? Kwon Soonyoung, huh.
