“Everything Can't Come Back”

Wonwoo's POV

I was strolling over the mansion, there was a little change of landscapes. The mini fountain was still there as well as the horse and swan figurines.

I let out a sigh as I pushed my specs back in between my eyes. I haven't heard about my 'mom' and my 'sister' for almost a year now. Well, that doesn't mean I'm missing them or what so ever.

I head to the main door as the new maid greeted me with their smiles, but why would I waste time smiling back? Everyone in this house is purely fake and useless. They're not worth a smile or even a word.

"Son, you came!" I heard a cheerful voice from my left side. Cheerful yet full of lies.

Can't believe I'm seeing the woman that betrayed our family. The one who made us live miserably.

She stood in front of me, with her usual smile. She touched my face, seemed like she 'misses' me so much. Damn, how can she continue acting like I'm still her son?!

Twenty three years ago, a three-year old me saw everything about her and her another man. They're kissing in their room, inside our house. I loathe her so much, to the point that I can't bare to see her without any disgust.

She's being shameful, she was never contented with dad and me. I'm being a hypocrite if I'll say that I'm not affected since I'm a cold hearted guy. Tch, but I've grown up fully now.

"You've grown up so much, son."  She muttered before she hugged me tight. I just roll my eyes, thinking what was a mother's warmth felt like, because honestly speaking, I don't feel something within her touch.

I'm too clouded by my anger and hatred towards her. Luckily, it's an order from my father to be here whenever she'll celebrate her birthday.

She's lucky that even she betrayed my dad, his love for her never fades and vanished until death was the one to broke it apart.

"Mrs Son..." Someone called from the back. I was a little surprised when I heard her soothing and angelic voice. The anger again boiled up inside me, as memories started flashing back.

Memories that I thought was buried and already forgotten. Events that I thought was left and shaded by my stony heart. Memories that I thought was pushed through the depth of flaming anger.

"Mina dear, come here." She ushered that someone. I didn't look back, I didn't dare to look back if only that feeling will come back.

I heard her heels slowly approaching our side, making me roll my eyes upwards.

"Wonwoo?" Her voices sounded so surprised to see me, again. The way it's tone raised up was making my ears covered itself.

Damn, I need to control this freaking emotions.

"I need to go." I muttered coldly, turning my back away from them.

I felt the coldness enwrap my whole body, together with the breeze of the cold night that passes through my black coat.

I found myself standing in front of the mini fountain. Looking  through the moon that shines above. The ambience was calming and relaxing at the same time.

I stood still as I reminisce those days that I was with her.

I was five that time, dad is on his work while mom, with her man for sure. I was walking alone since the mansion was just blocks away from the school. Soaking wet with the rain continued splashing down to my body, I was crying but it wasn't obvious.
