Levi's POV- Past

It was a gloomy and rainy afternoon. I was in my office writing a love letter to a girl that I fell in love with.
Her name is Rose Akayama.
I was ready to confess my love to her but I was too embarrassed to say it in person so I decided to write out a letter to her.

Levi:"I think this should be it"
I quickly stood up and head to the door going out to go to her room. Some scouts and cadets were out in the hallway enjoying themselves with friends.
Me with my expressionless face I looked away and just focused on going to Roses's room.

Finally I have arrived at the room, I stared at the door and took a deep breath. But then I heard commission inside the room.

Rose:"Shh be quiet there going to hear us"
?:"I don't care love, as long as we are together without no one knowing, everything is fine"

What...who is that inside the room? Am I imagining stuff? No this can't be it...

?:"So about that midget guy, what are you going to do with him?"
Rose:"Leave him of course, I never loved him. I just wanted to see if he fell in love and he did. Such a dumbass am I right haha."

Both him and rose laughed quietly, rage formed inside of me and I burst in the door.
Rose was in wearing a tank top and some short while the guy was shirtless with pants on.

Levi:"WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!" I screamed
Rose:"Levi be quiet-"
Levi:"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU SLUT! HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS!"
Rose:"Oh please Levi, did you really thought I was in love with you."

My hands turned into a tight fist, my nails digging deep inside of my skin. I didn't felt the pain, the only pain I felt was my heart broken into pieces.

Levi:"You knew I liked you...why didn't you told me you were seeing someone else."
Rose:"Pff, I knew you like me but I'm too in love with him that I can't love someone else."

Unbelievable, I can't believe this is actually happening. I was about to head out the door but I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.
It was Erwin.

Erwin:"Levi, I'll take care of this. You can leave now."

Without thinking twice I glazed at rose for one more time and head out the door. Everyone was looking at me but I didn't care. Heading outside with my horse I got on it and began riding it far away from the headquarters.
Tears were forming in my eyes, how could I not notice this?
Her fake love...WHY?!
I took the note and put it away.
I wasn't sure where I was going but I needed to be away from all this.
My horse got tired and we arrived at the top of the mountains. I got down from the horse and got on my knees.

Levi:"I gave you my heart, my trust, and everything inside of me...why did you lie to me"

Tears were rolling down my cheeks, I have never felt like this way before. She really meant the world to me, I wanted to marry her too. All my dreams and hopes with her are gone. I hope I never get to see her ever again.
