*tumbleweeds* is it weird I was trying to get to the bottom to this chapter and I saw the tag "andyhurley" and thought it said "audrey hepburn" also guess I should write huh?
Never thought I'd live to see the day when Pete was in love with me. I think about it, and it starts making sense. He has been hanging with me more even with Gee around. Like, he's not scared of Gee at all, and if he still is he's not showing it. Im most in my thoughts, and don't realize I'm playing with the unicorn necklace and I don't hear the door open.
"Mikey?" I jump. I turn around and see Patrick.
"Oh, h-hey." I say, slipping the necklace into my shirt once I realize in holding it. "You uh, you need something?" I ask him, nervously
He walks closer and shrugs
"I just noticed you and Pete seem kinda...close I guess. Something happen or something?" He asks, flipping his hat off then back onto his head.
"N-no why would, why would you think that?" I ask nervously again. I think he's onto us.
"Mom, just noticed you guys hang out more than you used to. Sure nothing is going on?" He asks, shifting closer.
"I-yeah im sure Payruck." I reply, still a bit nervous. He nods and backs up towards the door.
"Okay. Nice necklace by the way" he says and walks away. Holy. Shit. What the fuck just happened??
I run from the room and try to find Pete. Hopefully he knows what's going on with Patrick, because I sure dont.
"Pete!" I call out when I see the pink hair that is his. He turns and smiles.
"Hey Mikey Mikes" he says.
"Do you know why Patrick would be sweet one second and nosy and full if suspicion the next? Because he just was and it was about me and you." I rush out, barely breathing.
"Whoa whao calm down Mikes. Breathing does exist ya know. And he does that. He is weird but he's himself so we don't judge. We just all deny his accusations." He says
"He-he noticed the necklace. I only pull it from my shirt when im only with you or I'm nervous and he saw it. I don't know how to react to that" I say. He looks down and shrugs.
"Patrick has weird Ways of figuring stuff out. None of us ever really know how to react honestly" he replies.
"Wanna go explore?" I ask him. "I wanna go see more of this town" he nods.
"Yeah. We can use that as an excuse to avoid Patrick and Gerard" he says. I nod and we walk out if the building towards they rest of the twon.
We reach the town and end up in our alleyway.
"Hey its our alley. Where I found you, you saved me, and we first kissed." Pete says. I nod. We sit on the ground, leaning against the wall of one of the buildings. I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes. We sit in peaceful silence for a while before Pete speaks.
"Uh, Mikes?" He says, nervously. I lift my head and look at him. He's looking down and fiddling with his fingers.
"Yeah?" I ask. He looks up, his pink hair shifting slightly. Its grown longer in the past couple months of the Tour_ .
"Do you uh... wanttobemyboyfriend?" He asks quietly and quickly, I barely hear him. Not even 5 seconds later, my lips are on his, as I kiss him hard and deep. He responds after a second, kissing back with the same force. We pull away and I open my eyes and look into his.
"Yes. I would love to" I reply with a smile, making him smile. I lean down again and kiss the smile off his lips.
