"Bout damn time" we hear and Mikey jumps back from me. We look over and see Gerard, Ray, Frank, Joe, Andy, and Patrick standing at the end of the alley. Gerard has a knowing smirk on his face and Patrick looks proud that he was right about something. Mikey shifts and looks up at them.
"uh, hi?" he says and stands up. he pulls me up with him and his arm goes around my waist. i look down at his hand and put mine on top of his. i hear an 'awe' and look up and see Ray smiling. i look back down and Mikey shifts his hand and grabs mine thats on his, and he squeezes it slightly.
"Mikey, can i talk to you?" Gerard says. i look up at Mikey and see him nod. he reluctantly pulls away from me and him and Gerard walk away. Frank walks over to me, and throws and arm over my shoulders.
"Petey got a boyfriend" he sings and i shrug him off.
"fuck off dude" i say, with a slight smile. "you and Gerard a thing yet? i swear you two are so gay" i ask. he shakes his head
"nope. but i wish. i want us to be but i get scared and keep lying to him about how i feel." he says, and sits down, dragging me with him. i let out a noise when he yanks me and he laughs.
The others stand awkwardly at the end of the alley, and end up walking away. i see Gerard and Mikey talking, and arms waving like the balloon men at gas stations. i hope Mikey isnt getting yelled at.
"Ya know Gee does support yall right?" Frank says, breaking our silence.
"Really?" i say, surprised. Frank nods.
"hes hard on Mikey because he doesnt want him to get hurt. he knows you wont hurt him but hes still cautious." just then, Mikey starts walking back to us, his eyebrow arched at Frank.
"shouldnt you be going gay with my brother? i mean, you guys are gay alot" he says and i laugh a bit. Frank nods
"yeah we are kinda gay arent we?" he laughs. he stands up and walks towards Gerard, while Mikey takes Frank's seat next to me. he rests his head on my shoulder and i rest my head on his.
"what was he talking to you about?" we say at the same time. i laugh and he smiles.
"we were talking about how him and Gerard are gay together, like all the damn time." i say, leaving out the part about Gerard supporting us. "what was he talking to you about?" i ask him.
"us being secretive about this." he says, wrapping an arm around me.
"but it was fun this Way" i say, and poke his face. he looks at me with amused confusion and i laugh.
"poke" he says and pokes my stomach. i laugh and poke his leg
"Poke" i say and poke his nose.
"you mean boop?" he says and pokes my forehead.
"nope, i mean poke" i say and poke his ear.
"why are you poking random parts of my face?" he asks and pokes my leg.
"because i can. and i dont want to poke your eye out, duh" i say, and poke his nose again
"not how that works Petey" he says and instead of poking me, he kisses me. i instantly kiss back and close my eyes. he grips my arm and deepen the kiss by pulling me closer. i grip his hand and pull back, panting slightly. i open my eyes and see a small smile on his face.
"oh look, a unicorn is born" i say with a smile. his smile widens and i see him playing with his necklace again.
"you love the necklace dont you?" i say and he nods.
"i havent taken it off since you put it on me" i smile again and we stand up. i turn and see Frank smiling at me, while Gerard is talking to him, with his head on Frank's shoulder and his arm around Frank.
"think theyre a thing yet?" Mikey asks. i shrug.
"not sure. maybe" i reply and grab his hand. i drag him over to them
"you two a thing yet?" i ask bluntly. Gerard looks at me, then Frank, then me again.
"well?" i ask, moving my hair off my face. Frank looks down
"uh, yeah. we are" Frank says and i smile.
"finally. i swear" Mikey says and we laugh. Gerard smiles at Frank and pulls him closer to his side. Me and Mikey sit on the ground in front of Gerard and Frank and we start talking about random shit that pops into our heads.
