"Casey!" My dad pushes past the deputies, fighting them. "Let me through! That's my daughter!" The deputies finally let him through, and he ran over to me, wrapping his arms around me.
"Are you okay? Oh, my god, my baby girl." He whispered, running his fingers through my hair as he held me close.
"I'm fine, Dad. I swear, I'm fine." I tell him, and he frowns when he sees the bruise on my neck from that bitch trying to kill me.
"Casey, I-"
"I'm fine. I promise." I said, trying to make him feel better and he kissed the top of my head.
"I'm just glad you're okay." He said, and I hug him. He's already lost so much, he'll break if he loses one of us.
"Oh, my god, Casey!" Allison and Isaac ran over, and she hugged me.
"I'm fine, Allicat. How's Lydia?" I asked her, knowing she was pretty freaked out.
"A little freaked out, but she'll be okay. They're taking her to the hospital because of the bruising around her neck, where you should be going too." She said, and I shook my head.
"I'm not going to the hospital. I'll be fine." I said stubbornly, and she sighed.
"I'm taking you three home." Dad said, but Isaac refused.
"No, I have to get to the hospital. I can't leave Cora there with just Peter." He said, going to walk away when my dad stopped him.
"Isaac. I'll drive." Dad said when suddenly all the lights when out, thunder booming in the background from the storm.

Dad pulled up to the hospital, not caring to park properly, and we all got out, running towards the entrance.
"Looks like the evacuation's over." Dad said when we saw the doors wide open with no one in sight, and only the generators were probably working since it was so dark in there.
"Are you catching a scent?" Allison asked Isaac, and I stopped in my tracks. I furrow my eyebrows, frowning at the hospital when I felt this tether, this pull. And it was really, really strong. It reminds me of the connection that I have Jocelyn, but it's not as strong as this.
"No, not with the rain this heavy." Isaac answered her. "Casey? What's wrong?"
I look up to see them staring at me. "I don't know. I feel something, it's like a pull- I can't really explain it."
"What do you mean?" Allison asked me.
"Jocelyn says that I'm able to feel other elementals, but it's not as strong until we ourselves make it stronger in time. But it's not Jocelyn I'm feeling. I mean, she's in there, I can feel her, but it's something else. And I've felt it before." I tell them and Dad looks at me.
"Casey, what are you talking about?"
"When Peter trapped us in the school last year I felt this pull, it was like it was right next to me. And then I felt it again on the night of the formal, but I felt fear and anxiety. Jocelyn told me only siblings or family have this type of connection. The one where you can feel them and tell where they are without knowing it. It's like it's right here yet so far away. I don't understand." I said, wiping away a tear in frustration.
"Well maybe you can find the others. Follow it." Allison told me, and I nodded, going into the building to lead the way, but instead I ran off.
-
"Casey?" Jocelyn said when I burst through the doors, and they all turned around to see me out of breath.
"Oh, thank god. You guys are okay." I said in relief, walking over to them.
