Part 4

I put a hand on my chest and turned around. "Could you please stop scaring me?". "I don't think i'm the only thing that scares you". He said pointing at the stairs. "I was gonna go down there until you suddenly came". I said crossing my arms. "Yeah right". He said with a scoff.

"Oh so you don't believe me?". I said raising an eyebrow. "No one is ever brave enough to go down there". "Why? It's just a basement". "Yes a very scary basement". "It's not like there is a serial killer down there". "You never know".
Suddenly we heard heavy footsteps down the halls.

The prince walked up to me grabbed my hand, pulled me to the stairs and closed the door. I couldn't see anything, since there was no light. "What are you doing?". I whispered. "Ssh". He said still holding my hand. The footsteps passed the door. After they faded, I heard him sigh.

He slowly opened the door again and looked if there was someone there. "Who was that?". I asked. "I-i don't know". He said not looking at me. "Yeah right. Also why did you pull me in here?". "Just because". He said. "Just because? Okay, whatever, i'm gonna get the supplies now".

I was about to walk down the stairs. I'm really not going down there on my own. "Yeah no never mi-". "Come with me". He said with a sigh as he walked passed me and pulled me with him. He flipped the light switch. "I thought you were scared to go down here". "It was just to mess with you". I rolled my eyes and looked for the stuff we needed.

He just stood there waiting for me to get everything. "You're not gonna help?". "I'm the prince i don't do stuff like that". This guy is really getting on my nerves. I finally found everything and started walking up the stairs with the heavy box. I reached the end of stairs and walked away from him without saying anything.

"You're not gonna say thank you?". He said. I stopped in my tracks and slowly turned around. "For what? you didn't do anything now did you?". I said with a fake smile. He looked confused. I let out a scoff and turned back around. I brought the ornaments to the ball room.

DINNER
We prepared the dining room for the royal family. "Girls i have an announcement. All maids will have free time after dinner! You can go out of the castle aswell!". All the maids were very happy. "But be home before 12". I definitely know where i'm going. We all stood in a line and waited for them to come. We bowed as the king and queen walked inside. They took a seat.

The king signaled for one of the butlers to come. He whispered something, but it was just loud enough for me to hear. "Where is the prince?". He asked. The butler shrugged his shoulders. "He's gone again". The king said. I wonder where he is? The king and queen ate without the prince.

AFTER DINNER
I put on some normal clothes. "Y/n come with us to the bar!". "No thank you". "Then where are you going?". "I'm gonna visit the place where i feel most at home". I stood up and made my way out of the castle. It was already dark outside. But the streets were beautifully lighted up.

This feels nice. Being away from treated like a robot. I slowly made my way to the city. It actually wasn't that far from the castle. From a far distance i could already see the familiar building. A smile instantly grew on my face. I excitedly made my way to the building. Standing infront of it after all these days made me really happy.

I fished the keys out of my pocket. I secretly took them with me. I opened the door. No one should be here since it's closed. Almost all lights were off. Some were dimmed. I could already feel the temperature drop. My skates should still be in my locker.

I was about to go to my locker, but i heard music coming from the ice rink. I should be the only one here right? I slowly walked to the rink, once i turned around the corner i saw a figure on the ice. I couldn't see the persons face. But he literally looked like an ice prince.
"Wow". I said very quietly. After a while, the person stopped. Wait that face,
