i have had time a lot of time lately (before i realised how many essays i need to submit) to binge a couple dramas or just watch a couple, so here are my korean dramas recommendations that i watched in december last year.

synopsis: centred around the hera palace residents who are all part of the top elites of south korea. a murder-suicide happens at the place and everyone is a suspect.
episodes? 21 seasons? 1 so far, 2 & 3 are confirmed where to watch it? ☘︎︎ viki (wouldn't recommend. subs take so long to be done) ☘︎︎ dramanice (my favourite illegal website. has the whole show in hd)

my thoughts? i thought at first it was a re-booted sky castle but honestly, it is so much better than sky castle. there is so much to the plot, the acting is great, the characters are another breed compared to the sky castle characters.
never have i ever hated so many characters while watching a korean drama. there's only 2 characters that i like; the rest i hate with a strong passion.
the children are just the worst i have ever seen. the sky castle children are at least bearable but these kids?!? i would push them off their own 'holy' hera palace without blinking.
this is not for a faint hearted. i have cried a lot out of anger. the way this show just infuriates me is a whole different level of pain. i have never sworn so much as when i started to watch this. the first few episodes are actually the worst parts. it's exasperating. it fumes me.
