it can't be just me who does this but like when i read books, i don't actually read the words, like my eyes just sort of skim over the words but i do read it? like my brain comprehends the words and what's happening but i don't actually read?
i don't know, it makes so much sense in my head but why i wanted to talk about this is because my brain does this thing when i'm 'reading' where it will skim ahead and make assumptions about what the sentence is so i would fill it in my head as a completely different sentence and when i read on, the sentence i read doesn't make any sense so i go back and re-read to see that i basically made up a whole sentence.
