Midoriya tried his best to stop fidgeting as he and a couple more of the members of the villain organization stood in front of their leader in a soldier-like manner. He couldn't get his mind off Bakugo — especially the almost hysterical way he didn't want to let him go.

He didn't want to go either, and yet, he really had no choice. And now, here he was, preparing for another mission to be announced. Ready to get his hands bloody once again.

"The other mission failed horribly." Shigaraki hissed as he glared at his subordinates. The group of forced villains tried to calm down their worry as their leader started to walk past them, looking every one of them in the eyes as he did. "Not only were nearly half of you captured, some of you who are standing here were actually unconscious and simply saved by Kurogiri, and that is worse than failure. It wasn't just a 'Game Over' for us; it's an embarrassment to the League!" Midoriya let out a shaky breath that he had been holding, feeling himself get dizzy from the subconscious punishment he was already starting to give himself.

He knew from experience that whenever Shigaraki got mad, it never ended well, and maybe, just maybe, he had been trying to get himself to suffocate. He knew all too well that it wouldn't help him escape the punishment though, so he tried his best to breathe normally as he continued to listen to the malice-filled voice of his leader.

"This time, we will have a different strategy." Shigaraki suddenly stopped in front of Midoriya, and Midoriya held his breath as he felt his eyes unwillingly water from fear. Shigaraki slowly turned his head towards the greenette, and Midoriya gritted his teeth as he tried to calm down his breath. "The consequences of another loss will be way beyond what you can handle, if you get what I'm saying." Shigaraki said slowly, his threatening aura making Midoriya's legs weaken. Although, Midoriya quickly tensed up all over, trying to distract himself from the menacing red eyes that were looking right into his emerald eyes.

"Yes sir." Midoriya practically whispered. Shigaraki continued to glare at him with his eyes narrowed, before letting out a long, annoyed sigh and starting to walk again, forcing Midoriya to hold back a scream of relief.

"You know what? Whatever. You NPC's aren't that important anyway. I'll tell you the basics and if you have questions...Just figure it out somehow." Shigaraki took off his hand mask and rubbed his temple as he spoke. "You're going to go and cause a ruckus at UA while we get a few files from the school...There might be some information we're missing, and I can't risk using my best pawns again only for them to get crushed so easily like last time..." Shigaraki suddenly turned towards Midoriya again and poked his chest with his finger, causing Midoriya to flinch and hold back from jumping away.

"Dipshit." Midoriya nodded his head quickly, signaling he was listening. Shigaraki's eyes narrowed in concentration.

"You're the one who'll go with Kurogiri. You'll be the main asset of the plan this time, so you better not screw up." Midoriya's eyes widened as he couldn't help but glance at Mustard, who was wearing the same shocked expression. Before Midoriya could say anything though, Shigaraki clicked his tongue, simply annoyed, and stepped back as he looked at his subordinates. "Anyone have a quirk that can easily knock someone out? It needs to be quick working and not attract too much attention." Shigaraki snapped as he scanned the group. Mustard hesitantly raised his hand, attracting Shigaraki's attention. Shigaraki nodded, letting him speak, and Mustard hesitantly began to talk,

"My quirk lets me release sedative gas, but it's kind of flashy...And it might affect Kurogiri and Midoriya." He said hesitantly as he slumped, feeling Shigaraki's intense glare on him. Despite wanting to go onto the mission with Midoriya, he couldn't help but pray that he wouldn't be chosen, and Midoriya knew better than to judge him. No matter how awful it sounded, he would've done the same.
