It felt colder than usual when Midoriya walked towards his dorm, feeling more upset than usual at Bakugo's pushiness a few hours prior. Or maybe that he was the reason Bakugo felt like he had to be pushy. Midoriya wasn't sure, and it was making him feel even more pain in his chest from thinking of what he had done.

Therapy definitely didn't sound like that bad of an idea anymore, because he felt like screaming all his thoughts at someone if he wasn't going to let it all out somehow. It wasn't just from the incident with Keisha and Bakugo, no, he had kept silent for so long, even when he was with Mustard ...

Midoriya suddenly perked up as his friend's name flashed through his mind.

"That's right, I can call Kohaku!" He whispered to himself, a small smile appearing on his face. Quickly taking out his phone, he found his contact number, and eagerly pressed it as he listened to the long beeps.

It hadn't been a long time since he had talked to Mustard, since he had seen him when he was in the hospital, but at the same time, it had  - other than the time at the hospital - been a long time he had seen his other best friend, who had helped him through so much, both physically and mentally.

He almost felt guilty calling Mustard for the sole reason of spilling his guts, but at the same time, he was so eager to talk to his friend, he didn't particularly care, which was almost scary, but the thought quickly faded away as the long beep was cut short and the familiar voice sounded on the other side of the line.

"Izuku ?!" The happiness in Mustard's voice made Midoriya laugh as he realized just how much the two had missed each other, and he heard Mustard laugh as well, both excited to finally get to talk again. "Man, it's so good hearing from you! Even if from this cursed wire-filled box."

"Kohaku, stop pretending you don't like your phone!" Midoriya teased as he rolled his eyes, feeling his mood lighten in seconds. Mustard chuckled, letting out a defeated sigh before speaking.

"Okay, okay. Having a phone really does make life much easier." He admitted, unknowingly to Midoriya rolling his eyes, but the greenette could almost see the action in front of him despite not knowing if Mustard actually did roll his eyes.

"How are you?" Midoriya asked casually, and Mustard snorted at the "normalness" of the question.

"Oh shut up, Izuku, we don't do that."

"Okay, okay ... You're right."

"Why did you decide to call me? Something happened?" Midoriya's mood slightly faded, and the smile slowly disappeared from Midoriya's face.

"Um ... Well, it's about Kacchan."

"Listen, I can already tell where this is going, so I'll tell you what I think, because you called me for my wise opinion." Midoriya would've rolled his eyes if he wasn't feeling as nervous about having to talk about the incident. "It isn't your fault, and period."

"But–"

"Yes, there is a" but ", because you were the one that called Bakugo, but he was the one who decided to follow you."

"But if I hadn't called him–"

"Keisha would've called him himself." Midoriya stopped in his tracks, his mouth slightly agape as he tried to process what Mustard had told him.

"Wait, what?"

"Do you seriously think Keisha hadn't been expecting Bakugo to come? Izuku, the whole plan was about Bakugo!" Midoriya felt himself tense up as he slowly began to process wha the was being told.
