Chapter 10 - Paradise Of Love

I forced myself to pull away from the kiss, which made Astrid widen her eyes because she knew what was going on with me. I was out of her trance. "You will not turn me tonight or claim me." I told her before I heard her whine in a child manner and that was the signal to run. The door was still locked, but the window wasn't. I went over to it and unlocked the latch and pulled it up. "Oh come on now...are you really trying to escape from me?" Astrid asked me before I waved at her goodbye and grabbed a blanket to wrap myself up before climbing out of the window. 

The blood moon was incredibly strong, I could feel its energy in my body somehow. I began to sprint away from the hotel and through the garden, only to notice a wooden gate. That was no problem for me. I climbed over the gate and landed on the other side and continued to run. I didn't want to look back, she can keep my stuff. I didn't feel bad, I felt happy to be alive with a beating heart. There was no way I could ever be a vampire, like Astrid. 

I started to pant as my lungs were getting out of breath, but that didn't stop me. I ran towards the woods and suddenly I lost my steps and fell straight into the...pool? Since when there was a fucking pool here? Luckily the water wasn't that deep and I easily swam to the surface. "So you found the pool, or should I call it the paradise of love?" I heard a familiar voice behind me before I felt a small wave of her getting in. I knew who it was. 

I decided swam to the edge of the pool and realised that it was in a shape of a heart. Suddenly, I was picked up by Astrid which made me panic even more. "No need to panic. I am taking you back to where you belong to have a nice hot bath with me, whether you like it or not." she told me before she carried me back to the hotel and placed me down in the bath tub full of warm water. I took off my underwear and quickly turned around so that I was facing away from Astrid. I then felt her lips trail kisses from my shoulder to my neck, where she moved some hair away and sank her fangs into me again. My body twitched as she was drinking from me before she pulled them out and sank them in to the other side of my neck. 

"Mine." I heard her say in my head. Oh no...

"Mine." she said again, before I felt her fangs enter me again but in the wrist. I didn't know what was real anymore. After she pulled away for the third time, I turned myself around to finally face her. "Mine." she told me again out loud. "Don't turn me. Please." I begged her, "I want to be a human, not like you." 

"You will be a good little vampire though. We will be together forever." she told me, trying to convince me to let her turn me. "Please, Astrid. No." I told her back before she let out a sad sigh. "But...you can mark me..." 

"Really?" 

I nodded. I was going to regret this but I didn't care. I just wanted to live as a human. I tilted my head to the side and watched her lean towards me to sink her fangs into me for the fourth time in a row. Once it was done, she pressed her lips against mine. I kissed her back until the kiss turned passionate...
